No need for RK4 or anything fancy. You can achieve great results with verlet. You just need to make sure you're handling gravity (acceleration, to be specific) correctly, and then you can iterate over the whole solver ((verlet + constraints) * num of iterations), each time only doing a fraction of the frame's simulation. BTW, do NOT iterate over just the constraints, as this will result in artifacts.
Yes, this is exactly what's doing now but what's missing from this video are the hz at which the simulation is running that's about 20 instead of 60, that's why it looks stretchy: recording the video was a pain in the ass @60hz so it's obviously a time-stretched simulation.
bad gfx

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Waaaay too stretchy. Your solver sucks, sorry.

Ahahah! Too bad Flash is still not ready for a cool RK4 ;-\

Wow.. this is really great.. I love all 3D stuff and the interaction with that is awsome... the movment is too realistic.. it was developed with???

Hi Pedro, happy you like it! It has been coded in ActionScript 3.

.... Dude :-) ! AWSOME ! You've really Mastered Papervision 3d , the render in the end of the video is just perfect ! Well done !
