  • @ThaaWhiteShadow You are right. I just concentrated on the music and not the singing.

  • DUDe this my favorite band/song but i don't now what did he did i mean is he singing or he donsent even know where he is john kay

  • What a boneheaded comment. Geeze. I've worn out more Steppenwolf and John Kay lps and eight tracks than anyone in this comment chain and I thought Adam's rendering of the song was great. He didn't try to be John Kay like every other wannabe rocker does. Grow up, pal.

  • I love this song, it has been one of my favs for years with many great memories associated with it but I did enjoy adams performance. He's Gay, so what, get over it, he also very talented!! ps. I'm a hetrosexual woman not a gay man.

  • i cannot believe some faggot butchered the song that gave birth to rock. my heart sank listening to faggot lamberts rendition

  • I'm a fan of the song and Steppenwolf....and thought that was a poorly done cover. However you're right, the power of AI...will revive it...think I need to download the ORIGINAL on my ipod.

  • WillieIII, many people watched it! If you're a fan of this song, be grateful, it was sung in AI tonite, and by Adam, no less. There will be a deluge of viewers here and this song will be revived, with comments being posted every few seconds, unlike before, where you see comments posted by 2 weeks interval!

  • so sorry to learn of the passing of Kent Henry,he was one of the best guitarists of that era.I seen him perform with S'Wolf at COBO Arena in Detroit in Oct.1970.May he rest in peace.

  • kent Henry (guitarist in yellow turtleneck) passed away on march 23, 2009. Im his nephew and was at his funeral service today. goldy mcjohn (Pianist) was at his service also. We will all miss him and we all know hes in a better place. please give a thumbs up in honor of my uncle

  • @marioman1157

    RIP Kent Henry

  • @marioman1157 its a pleasure to see someone from his family

  • @marioman1157 RIP henry and everyday on the 60s born to be wild video he made my day dancing around while playing

  • @marioman1157 I was just reading on Wkikpedia that when Kent became ill, care by family members was unavailable to him and that he relied on friends for help. If that is true it's sad. I come from a large loving close family so it's hard to understand, of course we can't believe everything we read and maybe there is a good reason for others to have taken care of him.

  • This song was released in 1968,I beleive this was in On a music program in The UK on BBC sometime around that era...John Kaye and the band split up in 1973 after John Kaye was caught in bed having Anal sex with Norman Greenbaum.

  • on the other side scriptermone there's no use in us forgiving u for being a dickhead cause even if we forgive u you'll always be a dickhead - sorry lmfao!

  • tienen razon es mas bueno k la kaka

  • mas weno que la kaka

  • u must be latino mexican for making such tacky and stupid comment, how tasteless u are!!!

  • Nope, you don't have to be a latino to make stupid tacky comments. Just re-read the ones you have posted.

  • Obviously as a latino u have NO idea what tacky or tasteless means, I bet u don't even know the meaning of what I just wrote u latinos are so lazy u can't even work a little bit to learn english

  • by the way don't even bother answering 'cause I am not going to lose my time anymore answering ur lousy comments

  • hahaha, like i stated before. Just "re-read your comments." You don't have to get all aggressive as it shows how feeble and narrow minded your brain is. I'm laughing it up with your "tacky","tastless", asinine, and racist your comments are. You have some serious issues. Why not walk up to a Latino and express your mind out in real life? I mean if you want to talk bad about a person why not say it in front of their face instead of hiding behind a computer? Feeble minded people tend to be cowards.

  • fff

  • He sounds different in every video i see of Born To Be Wild.

  • Ditto. Ö

  • Part of the logo of "The Old Grey Whistle Test" - TV music programme on BBC in the UK from which this clip was taken. A fine show. Not to be missed in my teens. There was little opportunity to see good music on TV back then.
