ut2004 is nice too, my 256mb ddr2 8500gt can run it at 8x AA 16x AF with everything maxed, looks VERY nice, very clear, and a bit darker, but that really sets the feeling.

they should rewrite the original UT in a newer engine. Wonder how that looks :)

yeah of got this card but the asus 1gb ver and it rox through crashes happen it freezes up and i got a amd athlon X2 5600+ and 3gb ram lol ddr2 so wtf is wrong and also my power supply is 250watt and running 640gb hdd and acer mainboard is the power supply to blame ???

unreal tournament 3 have crash problems on many computers , when i record this video i was have 1 gb ram and geforce 8500 GT now i upgrade to 3 gb ram and geforce 9600 GSS and when i try to play ut3 i get crash every 5-10 minutes. I try to fix this problem using forum information about this crashes but nothing , so in the end i delete it from my hdd.

Get Windows Vista i had same problems with some games (call of duty 5, mass effect , dead space) i was getting very low fps and then direct x errors , since i got vista they work fine now

i had the 8500 gt, yeah, you could play this game, with crysis i beleive on like 1024x w/e it was res, i was on medium on gfx, =but the card is cheap, like 60$ now, for 120$ i got the geforce 9600GT it plays this game maxed out in every way, crysis 1280x1024 Veryhigh, and farcry 2 almost maxed 1280x1024 4x aa and all settings as high as they will go, also its with dx10

Have you downloaded Nvidia's latest Physx drivers and their UT3 mod? If you haven't, try it out and tell us if you see any improvement.

Of course it will because 9500 is better than 8500(which I have) but if you can put all the settings at max then thats all you need.Anything above the max settings you need wont make a difference.Not even a little bit. You can set your settings to max and enjoy the game because the game was made fo computers like yours and like the one in the videos. All that matters is weather you can set you setting to max.If you cant dont be dissapointed it will still work over a graphics card of nvidia 6600

9500 is better that 8500...a little not much:P because GeForce 9 was made specialy for DX10

dude look at the benchmarks for the 9500, it goes up against the 8600gt. which is 2 times better than the 8500, and it gets better fps in games

i play this with my gigabyte gf8500gt 256vram 800mhz 450core clock at max setings without a lag smthing like 50 fps minimum but people dont buy GF 8500GT 512VRAM ITS FCKING WAY SLOWER BECAUSE IT HAS 350CORE CLOCK AND 600 MHZ WELL YOU COULD RUS NEW GEMAS BUT NOT ON MAX.
