I liked season nine but consider it a spin-off (i.e. Scrubs: Med School). I wish they would have kept it the way it was in seasons 1-8 but since Zach Braff left, well they couldn't force him to stay. They did the best with what they had.

After I saw the season 8 finale, I was very glad that they decided to continue the show. But after I watched the first few episodes of season 9, it just wasn't Scrubs anymore.

The new setting butchers that classic Scrubs mood, Turk is nowhere near as funny without Carla and JD, Lucy is quirky and charming but definitely no JD, and of course (even though his exit was awesome); no more janitor.

They ruined that awesome dynamic that made the show so great.. :C

i love scrubs............and i hate to say, i really like the new season. i mean the whole idea of moving it to med school was a fresh start. its really great because it gives the new cast a clean start rather then trying to fill in new people on an old set. i can;t wait to see the turn out.  I miss Zack Braff, but he left on his own, so i respect his decision.

I JUST saw the last episode of season 8 and its the perfect ending. They really shouldnt ruin it by turning it into it sown spin-off.

In my opinion this is the best tv-show off all time. There are a lot of fun ones out there but this is philosophy camouflaged as comedy and its GREAT!

The show is getting a 9th season, probably because 8 did so well. The problem is, it probably did so well because they wrote such a good finale season for JD. Also the last episode was just epic...but only because it was such a good ending. Doesn't really make a good transition to another season, even one without JD. I don't know, I will watch reruns as usual :)
