@ScytheGod Though you Macbook has a great in-built microphone but the in-built microphones cannot cancel the ambient noise, it is always recommended to use the MacSpeech certified noise cancellation USB microphone. It will help you achieve better accuracy.
wow that is accurate the hole video all that speech and only one mistake, I'm dyslexic and i cant type well i type fast but make loads of mistakes mainly because i cant spell very well at all, this might be just what i need, i had dragon naturally speaking a wile back but to be honest its not as good as it made out to be however, that looks very good.
You must get the MacSpeech dictate, with Dragon speech engine in it, its quite accurate. At this moment you can purely use the same for dictation. It lacks features of Dragon Corrections & formatting. I am told that MacSpeech is working on the same & will release an update in future which will be free download for all registered MacSpeech users.
thanks for the review. I'm a quadriplegic and use Dragon NaturallySpeaking for the PC, but desperately want to get a Mac. I'm going to do a little bit more research on this, but it looks like I'm on my way to trying out the software and seeing how it goes. Thanks!
wow, you have a computer, and know how to edit videos, yet you have to effing record the screen with a camera. WTF man

Any current Intel processor is fine, if you have a bit of higher RAM that will surely help.

what's the processor type and speed on your mac? i was told that the accuracy depends on the processor speed, memory etc..

Hi Greg,
Please try the following:
There are few ways to work around this
1- Command Scratch That / Forget That - This will delete last thing you said.
2- Command Delete the Word[s] text - By this you can delete a specific word.

You may start using the programme after completion of initial 7 (yes, i said 7) minutes of voice training.
