The fact that revan showed up in TOR which is 300 years after the event in kotor 1 is RUINED the story. Bioware put revan in this game so they can trick the real kotor fan into playing this shitty game. Revan is human, and human don't live 300 years, not even in star wars universe.
@friant0 Revan was in a quasi-stasis. In SW universe the natural lifespan of humans is longer (closer to 150 years), so with some Sith sorcery induced stasis, it isn't as big of a stretch.

@DaftSparow Was not Obsidians fault that the game was broken, I don't remember it selling badly as it was sequel to kotor everyone who played kotor would buy it regardless of bugs and other faults. it would be an epic if you could have your friends play with you in multi-player but not MMO format because it doesn't really ever invest you in the story and considering they couldn't actually continue with the story in the old republic anything more than Easter eggs. This is not KoTOR 3, it doesn't have a storyline centered around Revan, even KoTOR 2 was centered around Revan even though he wasn't the main protagonist. This game is set 500 years after Revan and was even said not to be KoTOR 3 by Lucasarts, and KoTOR 3 may even be in development after Lucasarts refused to comment on it to G4, Casey Hudson (Lead designer in KoTOR 1 and Mass Effect) has even said he doesn't like it. It's just a piss poor attempt at trying to make up for not releasing KoTOR 3.

I kind of hate online games cause the story and graphics usually take a back seat to being worthy enough to play. On the other hand most Role Playing games on PC to play at home tend to be so full of glitches and bugs that one wonders why anyone should play them! Of course you can counter argue that without them no one would be able to play them; guess that means we're screwed either way! Oh hell one can only hope for improvement!

I'll admit, back in 09 when I heard they were turning KOTOR into an mmo, I was pissed off and thought it was ruined, but when I heard it was from bioware, the masters of rpg story (imho at least) I relax. This is not KoTOR 3, it doesn't have a storyline centered around Revan, even KoTOR 2 was centered around Revan even though he wasn't the main protagonist. This game is set 500 years after Revan and was even said not to be KoTOR 3 by Lucasarts, and KoTOR 3 may even be in development after Lucasarts refused to comment on it to G4, Casey Hudson (Lead designer in KoTOR 1 and Mass Effect) has even said he doesn't like it. It's just a piss poor attempt at trying to make up for not releasing KoTOR 3.

Meaning millions of more people play MMO's than either of the games you mentioned. Warcraft is the single most succesfull franchise of video games in the WORLD. TGR is right in the fact that it is the most played video game in the world. I thought that it was a stupid game only nerds play, but then I got hooked a year ago. I agree with you though too, that there are very few games with epic stories, as we are all entitled to our opinions.

I kind of hate online games cause the story and graphics usually take a back seat to being worthy enough to play. On the other hand most Role Playing games on PC to play at home tend to be so full of glitches and bugs that one wonders why anyone should play them! Of course you can counter argue that without them no one would be able to play them; guess that means we're screwed either way! Oh hell one can only hope for improvement!

lol I love all the hateful comments on here. I'll admit, back in 09 when I heard they were turning KOTOR into an mmo, I was pissed off and thought it was ruined, but when I heard it was from bioware, the masters of rpg story (imho at least) I relax. Because BW has yet to let me down, and I trust them when they say it'll have a great story. Besides, how many games actually let you play as your own full sith?

I like how they did this but common... the games grapthics arent as good as the first 2. And the costumes look kinda stupid. Well ive seen alot of the concept art, any way. I hope they go ps3 and xbox. They're not going to make as much money if it's only p.c. and i would hate to see it fail..... even though i kinda really dislike this one
