Hi to all khmer friends. I am Thai living in Thailand. This is commercial show. The dancers are not professional classical dancers. We consider this dances is not good. The producer just immitate from khmer or Thai classical dance but cannot perform well enough.

It is called the apsara dance. Apsara is known to symbolize womens gracefulness...with slow and graceful movements. I don't like this interpretation of this dance. It is too amateur looking, the movements are too stiff and the costume is way too outrageous.

Fuck this dance and the Thai so-call culture, I support the fact of khmer heritage. Just like the current moment the keep on invading our nation and try to annex our temples. If you know the history of Khmer people, maybe your nation wouldn't be that ignorant. I'm not sure about region. We staid in Ambassador hotel and ordered an excursion to somewhere not so long from that place. We visited an orchid garden, saw elephant shows and these dances at the same same place. Sorry but I don't remember place's name.
