sorry to comment so long after the fact. the song is called "do it again," and i think it is from the "20/20" album, though it may have been out as a single the previous year.
Their engineer at the time Stephen Desper came up with it- it's a tape delay unit he ordered from philips to get a double tracked vocal sound live- I think it's four separate repeats, at equal volume 10ms apart
