Pioneer stuff is expensive because DJs and clubs can make money with it. Look at an icecream maker, the technology inside it is like 100 bucks, but the machine costs like 2000 bucks, because companies can make money with it!

quit complaining that its too expensive. the best always is. pioneer like the good ol 1200's is a buy it once type product. you dont have to worry about trips to service it or issues coming up along the way for the most part. you want to dj for cheap get numark or american dj. you want the best then pay for it.

I would totally get Pioneer gear too if it wasn't so expensive. The quality matches many other DJ companies out there, but with Pioneer you're mainly paying for the name. It sucks too because Pioneer is the DJ standard at clubs and venues. Why don't they realize that more people would buy from them if they lowered prices just a little bit?

it isnt in the stores yet .. so i dunno the price yet

@no1DJinsane bo i dont think so.. real price for equipmant like this is round 400-600e piece,but as i say in eyes of people 'if thing is expencive must be good".. wery simple rule of life.before pioneer with cdj1000 beat everibody else on dj market but today they have much copetition..look if laptop kost from 199e-.. en can do much more then cdj's then why cdj's cost that much more?? look example of numark-v7 with laptop AAA+++ set.. pioneer cant beat..!!

@no1DJinsane future is time code end many fabrics onderstend this.. pioneer have reputation as good equipmant but pople wont admit it have the down sides too..it all comes to the dj itself, you are good oor not !! and this is bottom line.. from expiriance, if you use much efects oor other extras with music most pople DONT like this end you will loose on the end.. keep it clean end good choise of music end that is it..most dont even care for beatmatching..!! strange...

just a personal question what you wanna use . but 1 thing's for sure: vinyl is goin to die out. maybe it will partially survive through timecodes.

@ElectroWOWofficial well a djm 2000 would be nice but if you just starting with real decks, you dont want pioneer cdj 2000's and djm 2000. its best to star off with the lower end equipment. if you just jump into high end professional gear you wont know what your doing. id recommend. getting something by kam or gemini.
