  • 1:43-1:59 Is that bagpipes? Beautiful .. I would like to hear other songs with moving melody like in 1:43-1:59

  • @eragonn14 Yeah it is the Irish, Uileann Pipe. I love this version... it always makes me sway and in good mood.

  • @eragonn14 Go to: youtube.com/watch?v=Zyknt8-THM8. Be ready to go nuts at 1:54.

  • You have to be very stupid to dislike this.

  • The people's expressions say it all :) No need for comment.

  • This video is very bad quality, there is another video on youtube in better quality from the same concert. However this video got that happy lady at 0:54 . I love that lady!

  • Whoever dislikes anything of Celtic Woman's obviously doesn't have emotions.

  • 22 dislikes. I see they watch the talent on X FACTOR?

  • Fascinante, from Brazil, or amazing

  • Hm...I think Youtube's having a bad day; last time I saw this one the quality was better. Audio's still awesome but the video looks pixelated.

  • top klasse

  • I used to hear this song ages ago from my Mom's CD, I thought they were saying "save the whales".......probably cuz I heard this song at BC Stadium in Vancouver during a hockey game with an inflatable orca floating above the rink......

  • So is the more alto the redhaired one?

  • I don't really like enya... She Really ISN"T all that great! Where in Celtic Women's Case they are all fabulous!! i'm sad orla, meave and hayley left!!

  • The song is one of my favorites. It cater to all ages. My gosh the singers are perfect, even the background singers and the drummer and the musical accompaniment. Kudos to David Downes.

  • What a great arrangement. From the plucking of the strings, to the horns, to the percussion, with the always perfect voices, this song came together better than anyone could imagine.

  • The all have lovely bottoms

  • @wtfyiseverynamtaken Actually, that is how it was done, no compression. I have it on video, and they actually sung the entire song in this amount of time, although the start on this video was removed.

  • I like this song very much. It makes me think positiv! :D

  • Did whoever posted this do something to the original video? They don't look like real people, like they were cartoonified or pixelated or whatever that's called.

  • they're lipsyncing. its a good song but it sounds far too processed.

  • is song of enya

  • when will this be repeated???

  • lisa is soooo beautiful!!

    Great song btw

  • Enya herself is a Celtic woman.

  • eh still like Enya's version

  • @SwiftANGELnDCoors Agree.. I think they made it a little too "pop"... what with the "dancing", it kills the mood... Perhaps my sentimental emotion talks here, or it is their own interpretation.

    It's good, but i still like enya's

  • It´s Great

  • You know, I'd heard the song before but I had never realized exactly who sang it. Now I know. Beautifully done.

  • @LadyOfTheElements @LadyOfTheElements I dont know if you mean that you think that it is thise lovely ladies who made it. The song is originally song and composed by Enya. :) It have been one of my favorite songs all my life. I used to "steal" my parents enya cd and play it over and over again. I think celtic women sing this beautifully.

  • these lovely ladies have such amazing voices and they sing so well together as well as solo

  • you know what your doing is worth doing when you get the reaction @ 0:63 and 1:21 =]

  • I adore the ladies as always but on this song the drummers are absolutely powerful and add a depth to the music that no other performer has.

  • Pardon for asking such a silly question, but what is the instrument at 1:56 called?

  • @redarkling That is Ireland's version of "bagpipes", called Uilleann pipes.

  • They're good, arent' they?

  • how can 20 people NOT like this????!!!!

  • 1:37 She looks like Lynn...

  • J'amour Celtic Woman!!! Elles sont super!

  • This song makes me smile. It's so...geographical! :D I absolutely adore the Celtic Women. <3

  • i love this song

  • im so sorry but the first 10 seconds reminded me of Halo :P

  • xD South park x) Stan's grandfather

  • Chloe Agnews mum is Twink .. :P

  • At 0:53 you can see Chloe Agnew s mum in the audience singing along :P

  • in reply to yomega they are called Uilleann Pipes

  • @scuzzi100 You are correct in your spelling. "Uilleann" is Gaelic for elbow

  • what is that instrument at about 1:43 called? i have no clue

  • @yomega69 Looks like a bagpipe to me

  • @magpie4321 and @yomega69 Uillean pipes :) not entirely sure of the spelling, but said as "waylin" or "yewaylin". I have a friend who plays them :)

  • @AtharAqua The word "Uilleann" means elbow. Thank you for the information

  • @yomega69 it's a bagpipe

  • You just want to sway with them. Celtic woman makes me overwhelmed every time I listen.

  • Celtic Woman, orchestra, & producers are Our "Angels" from above.

I feel like I am in Heaven when I hear them........

  • if they ever zoomed in on me in the crowd i wuld be crying my eyes out! come to nc! it wuld make my freeken life!

  • Celtic woman...please come to Holland !

  • wundervoll ....

  • LOVE THIS SONG AND LOVE THIS VERSION!! IT'S JUST AS GOOD AS ENYA'S

  • 20 people don't have ears and eyes..

  • One of the best - ever!

  • They do justice to Enya!

  • beautiful, but Enya sings it better

  • only $45 a show. Man, this is worth it. Welcome to the world of entertainment.

  • This song gives me an infinite feeling of freedom. I feel as though anything can happen, and that anything that will happen is all part of a grand adventure. When I close my eyes, I am sailing on the ocean, or soaring through the sky, or dancing across a green field with the wind fairies. The wind is my ally, the sun my guide, and my imagination soars on the summer breeze!

  • @AncientLegendSeeker I feel the same way. Too many people fear being dragged out of their comfort zone, while many of us actually seek those zones of discomfort in the hopes of making things better.

The fact that your posting name is "AncientLegend Seeker," has to strike a note. I'm where you are, but I'm also trying terribly hard to bring legend/fable/mythology into light, so that fruit-cakes don't continue to rule the airwaves.....

    Sallie

  • @AncientLegendSeeker OK OK OK, I'll give you a thumbs up, sheesh!!!

  • 19 People missed the like button.............Jagaloons..

  • oh my goodness.. that is brillhant!!! what a beautifuk song.. with great people!

  • I ENJOYED THIS SO MUCH! It was wonderful :) Wish I got too see it live!

  • haha not bad :) but i prefer enya

  • @moonshiry : I loved Enya. But go try to find tickets for them now near you. :P I love CW. And I have tickets for them. :)

  • I love this song!

  • You just can't help it, but just sing along, :)

  • so girlie looove it

  • They're good but i think this song is much better when sung by Enya.

  • Absolutely Amazing....Three absolutely lovely ladies, with voices of ANGEL's, a teriffic orchestra, and WOW !!!! what a back-up group to accompany them..

Ladies, I doubt if you ever read this note, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Thankyou

  • *waves around* Sail away! Sail away! Sail away! ^-^

  • this song just makes me want to sail away with a katamaran!

  • @intothemystical yep they will be back although probably not until march time (early spring time) but lisa Kelly should be back on tour again after time out. Can't wait for it but wherever it is it will be sold out and truely amazing

  • @excelsocallmaster Thanks.

  • @excelsocallmaster where is lisa going??

  • Russell totally agree although they touring America until October time so hopefully early next year if you get a chance look at their website for tour dates but to really benefit you should see them at slane, RDS or corke park in Ireland next year (no dates at present but they will be playing one of these events in near future).

  • @excelsocallmaster They are playing Slane Castle again? Not many people have done that!

  • I wish they would do a UK tour id pay to see them and hear there lovely voices

  • estas mujeres tienen voces hermosas

  • i also cannot get enough of their voices so great. only way i carry a tube is in back pocket..

  • just love this version! you can tell the audience are enjoying it!

  • No matter what you say people I Loved this totaly different version of the song ! !

Was "funny" and "refreshing" and i believe the audience really enjoyed it also !

  • I absolutley love this music

  • great

  • Essas moças devem ser irmãs da ENYA.

  • i think they both have got wonderful voices. SO clear such fantastic. i feel so sorry that we are living in germany and don´t can go to a live concert i think it would one of the best i ever would see in my life

so i can only say RESPECt

  • I feel kinda sorry for the backing singers cause they never really get much of a chance to show how good they are and they always have to wear the same dull outfit. But i do like this song but i think they have done better things.

  • @Nicodigipics Don't feel sorry for them, they're as big part of the song as anyone. It's the outcome that matters. Keep it in mind. :)

  • @Yoonaz8 um, i think the backing singer deserve there change to show what they can do, i understand that the outcome matters as well but i still feel sorry for them as they don't get to show there true potential. (And i might have spelt that last word wrong)

  • Ummmm Backup Singers. The name says it all. They are hired to Back the Celtic Women ladies. When you are a backup singer you are expected to enhance the song without drawing attention to yourself. They are part of a choir. Also I think that the choirs talent was well showcased here as they get several parts of the song to themselves without Lisa Meav or Orla singing a single note.

  • Hmh, if they would not like to do what they do then they probably wouldn't do it. If they're better than that what they're doing, then they would just start doing solo. I mean, they're not forced to do what they do, they do it because they like to do it, if not, then they'd just stop doing what they do and start doing something else, rite? And priestessofair has nicely commented on that subject there. >_>

  • thats there job... if they wouldnt sing at the back they quit ;)

  • Is it Enya in 00:53?? Cool...

  • i love this songggggg i would play it always on my itouch

  • you know with how good they are you would think they are lip syncing

  • 0:53 Hellz yeah!

This song is one of my favorites and these lovely and talented ladies sing it very well.

  • I love the bagpipe at about 2 minutes. nicely done. and people it is OK to smile when you perform - nothing wrong with that!

    Merry Christmas.

  • its actually not a bagpipe. not sure what its called. this you actually pumped with your arm where as a bagpipe your using your lungs

  • they cant stop smiling, then again if I was singing such a powerful song and like that so I would be too!!! :-)

I mean correction they cant stop grinning like idiots, then again if I was singing such a powerful beautiful song and like that so I would be too!!! :-)

  • I love this song both version this one and Enya's one!! for some reason this version of the song reminds me of the olimplycs! weird! :-) i think its coz there wearing white or coz the song this version just sounds that way!!

  • @jjagdfeld79 ive senn them in concert in SLC, UT if you get the chance dont miss it , it will be very well worth your time and money...

  • @jjagdfeld79 I would LOVE to see them in concert too when they come close to me. I have listened to them for about 4 years, but have never seen them in concert. It would be nice to see them live.

  • @amyleeluvr : Well, I found them fairly recently by following Hayley Westenra. Now I am a fan. they come fairly close to me on 6 Aug. It's a 6 hour drive to the north to a strange city. (I hope I can find the hotel). But I have tickets and hotel reservs for two nights. I understand that Lisa, Mairead, Chloe and Lynn will be out front. I'm excited. :D

  • @mimiller8 Lucky!! Where are you from? I wish they could come to where I am and I coudl see them. Chloe is one of my top five favorite singers of all time (she is so blessed with talent) and I just hope to take a friend and see them sometime. You are so lucky. Let me know how it is.

  • @jjagdfeld79 Ditto!! I just bought their CD "Celtic Woman." It is AWESOME!

  • @jjagdfeld79 I got to see them in August 2010. They "re-tooled" the opening of Orinoco Flow and it was absolutely wonderful. It just blew me out of my seat. The single best way to listen to them is LIVE (had to drive 3 hours, but it was well worth it).

  • hey does anybody know why this isn't on the "a new journey" dvd? i ordered it and this isn't on it. can anybody help?

  • Don't know what you are talking about I have the "New Journey" DVD and it is "track" or "Chap" 5..... Are you sure you don't have the "Greatest Journey" DVD??

  • I have a weakness for redheads as is, but Orla's hair is just.... beautiful.

  • I actually saw Celtic Woman last night.

But Alex, Lisa, and Lynn sang this song. It was still just as good.

  • i think they were on dancing with the stars awhile back.

  • wow, what beutiful voices!

  • Méav and Órlagh

  • Anybody know where is this Orinoco?

  • Venezuela.

  • Orinoco Is actually a river in Venezuela. But she mentions a list of

    places throughout the Globe.

    here's a few to mention

    Coral Sea

    Tripoli etc...

  • The Orinoco is one of the longest rivers in South America at 2,140 km, (1,330 miles). Its drainage basin, sometimes called the Orinoquia (especially in Colombia) covers 880,000 km², 76.3% in Venezuela with the rest in Colombia.
