i understand that you mean that you can like something without thinking that theyre good at what they do, but i actually disagree. hes perfect for the show.

so you've been to acting school have you? he must be able to act, he was in lord of the rings the return of the king. what you've done here is basically highlight most of bret's lines/one liners, and proclaimed that they are bad. you don't explain WHY he's "bad" and the song parts that you've highlighted actually have very little to do with acting. you do what he has and then you've got the right to tell him he can't act.

Well, Bret had only ONE line in LOTR so I'm guessing he can't act as good as Orlando who had, like, about 17 lines.

Oh, and I don't have to know how to act to realize someone else (Bret) can't act. I know he's supposed to be goofy and akward in that show. I also know he's a wonderfull person, a good looking guy, a talented song writer and comedian, a good ukulele player, a loving husband and father, a great friend, a brilliant scientist, etc., but that doesn't mean he can act.

Yeah, he can act. The things he do, even in the clips you picked out, what he does fit the show perfectly. For instance all the weird awkward moments are meant to be like that, and he acts them well.

Um he's playing a part of someone who is unenthusiastic, thus his acting is the same.
