I love to unicycle -- it's really yourself and a wild wheel, and it's up to you whether you're going to fight it or master it. I've been riding since 1970, when I was 9. In my 20s, though, I discovered giraffe unicycling, and I could never really ride the short ones again. Maybe off-road unicycles are the way to go, I don't know. Certainly your mastery and enthusiasm is catching, and inspiring, and it makes me want to give it a go.
Most people don't tell you that the hardest part in idling on a unicycle is not the front/back balancing but the left/right balancing. In order to keep your left/right balance, you must twist your hips so the wheel does like an ''C'' or the opposite of a ''C'' shape depending on what side you have to balance the unicycle. You cannot idle in a straight line as far as I know.
@topaz500va that's the one tip i've been looking for. I've been wondering about left/right balance forever. I think i'll be able to idle soon. thank you.
There weren't any tips =/ I usually ride a torker with a heavy wheel and learning idling on it was really hard. I switched over to my light cyclepro so that I don't need to push so hard to regain my momentum back into revolutions. Try a light wheel/seat. Also, it helps to point your toes downwards on the down foot.
@imabandgeek87 i put the left peddle towards me so that when i step on it the seat pushes towards me, but it's more of a hop onto sitting position than it is applying pressure to the peddle, it has taken me about a week to get it down, and i'm still having some problems but i'm geting better, i'm sure that (according to the time on your comment) you could give me some tips on unicycling.
well until i could ride around no problem and get up freely, i rode probably about 45 minutes each day, but now i just try to ride everyday at least 10 minutes
thank you!! expert village sucks mad dick and never teach you anything. but their 500 30-sec videos on the same subject are clogging up youtube so i cant find any videos by people who actually know what theyre doing!
I fully agree Jaquezy, they simply talk about what your hoping to acheive, instead of actually giving you specific tips on how to do it....expert village sucks ass

Is that an Invicta unicycle? How durable are they? Also, love the way you mounted the unicycle, you make it seem effortless.
