This is a song that you hear upon your realization you are dying, feeling everything you've known vanish like it was never there, knowing the truth, feeling the transition to higher state of being... if only for a few instants, the entire universe is known to you, there are no mysteries left in our vast beautiful world,,, all is new, but what was there before is also revealed, every query carefully and perfectly translated...
If only for a few moments, a fulcrum in time and space
Fortunately there are mods to add new music (for example, from Conan The Barbarian - Basil Poledouris) which is awesome. I am talking about PC version, it's only possible thanks to mods.
Is there anything better than playing oblivion exploring the amazing views to this song. Beautiful. It's actually emotional :( I miss playing oblivion (I still have the game, I want them to make a new one though)
@philthekeese if u hate why watse ur time bitching about it? dnt u have better things to do instead of telling us of ur opinion that no one gives a shit about?
@THEONLYSULLY i have better things to do writing a comment is not very time consuming and i don't care what other people think i think oblivion's soundtrack is a little overrated just a tad
HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 ended up being outstanding! My cousin and I actually watched it released online. We located the film at watch harry potter. us (no spaces)
@MrNickWright dude they recycle far more than just music... almost 90% of NV is the same as fo3 and the game just feels like an expansion... i'll admit i loved NV when it came out, and even spent around 100 hours playing it, but it just somehow felt like an expansion to me.
@beardigady lolwut? Akatosh is NOT the bad guy in Skyrim. Akatosh is one of the Nine Divines who happens to be represented by a Dragon. The "bad guy" of Skyrim is Alduin, the World Breaker.
@Thekontako Well that's technically true, in reality Alduin only physically resembles Akatosh, as Akatosh is depicted as this great God in Cyrodiil, while in Skyrim his equivalent Alduin is the bringer of the end of time. They are related, though distantly, but most definitely different deities.
@Thekontako I'm saying that they are two different God's that mirror each other in physical appearance. Otherwise, they are completely unrelated. Alduin is Alduin, while Akatosh is Akatosh.
@Wootosaur Actually they are probably two different points of view of the same god. Maybe however the Alduin we are seeing in Skyrim is what is left of Akatosh after the ending of Oblivion?(just a theory)
@Wootosaur There is no mirror. Akatosh is Alduin. It is the same god. He doesn't have split personalities or anything. The Nords call him Alduin, and Imperials named him Akatosh. He's only revered as good in Cyrodiil because of everything that went down with Alessia. Akatosh hates the mortal realm, after what Lorkhan did to him. Which is why Lorkhan got his fucking heart ripped out.
I usually hate 'night time' in games (any games, really) even though I'm night time person. Anyway, this songs makes me actually want to wait for a nightfall, just to listen to it. It's beautiful when in the forest at night... fought ruined when a crab is coming at me at 0.000000000002 mph to attack me.
@NoLegs115 first time I've heard this song I was riding through the forest in night with deers walking along my path and elven ruins nearby bathing in the moonlight... it is the moment I'll never forget
to all the music fans and oblivion fans idk how you feel but what i feel for this game amasses me...i want to be there to Rome and be free.to do whatever i want.to sit on a mountain in the jeral mountains.to slay a vampire whenever i want.i want to be there i want to be at peace with this music i feel at home.i feel like i'm there thats what i have to say tanner out...PEACE!!!
oh man this is what i need right now - entrancing travel music - outside this realm is where i desire to be - this helps exceedingly Peter - thank you my brother

@Wootosaur so basically your saying he's 2 different gods that kind of form together to make akatosh?
like he has both an evil and good side or he just has 2 different personalities
