Are all RS3L horns SuperTyfons? I hear two distinct sounds labled as RS3L horns, but the ones that actually are mentioned as SuperTyfon RS3Ls sound like the ones I hear.
YES!! S3L,is the ones that came out first, though prone to fouling,so Leslie gave them upgrades, meaning RS3Ls now,R menas Raised spiked back-caps,hence RS3L(S3L meaning the make)so,RS3L,if one bell is reversed which it most often is,it has an R at the end, meaning RS3Lr.
Nice location indeed...love the horn! An interesting note: this location was featured on the Railroad Video Productions "Norfolk Southern In Pennsylvania"
19G- They'll be around for a long, after 20 years, this new engine would be completely rusted and probably have a broken E-Bell, I say the 20 years, we'll see probably 10,000 GEVOs be then.
Gosh, the sqeaky part of the horn sounded like a baby screaming! Nice ex-cr sw1500!

I like the Ice Cream ad on that 18th century house there. The paint looks so brand new. I bet that ad has to be at least fifty years old.
