He may be singing this song differently than how the album track is sung, but that is just to keep it fresh; if you had been singing the same song on every tour, at every venue, for almost 5 years, wouldn't it get old of doing the same note progression, the same key, etc. Next time you choose to talk out your ass, at least try and not reveal your stupidity.

I think he made a mistake on his own song at the 2:58 mark. I say this for two reasons: I've seen him play this song several times on acoustic, also I've played it on acoustic as well. He went to an E chord for a split second but should save went to an F; but, he recovered well.

Too bad there isnt a higher audio quality recording of this! This has gotta be the best version of Chris doing Like A Stone, EVER. The studio version is awesome, but this version has far more feeling and raw emotion and power to it. Chris's vocal talent really shines here, with no other instruments to cloud it.

Chris has the most envied voice in rock music... every vocalist will tell you that. Unfortunately, in this video he wasn't quite as "on" as he can be. I've seen him live enough to able to comment in this way. If you've ever seen him perform when his pipes are pitch perfect, then you know what "chills up your spine" means to the bone.

I am the Highway and this version of Like a Stone are both in the key of C, because it is the easiest key to play and sing in. The two chord progressions may sound similar because of the key he's singing in, but they are different.

I think Cornell needs to go acoustic...everytime he picks up the acoustic it blows away the electric version by about 100 percent. When I saw Audioslave he did an acoustic version of the Curse and it became my favourite Audioslave song..the album version is nowhere near as good.
