I never liked any of the movies directed by Clint Eastwood. Not to seem like a hater, but in his movies a lot of times we see women being violently assaulted, and that just kind of pisses you off.
I'm a die-hard fan of the Dollars Trilogy (A fistful of dollars, For a few dollars more, and the Good, The Bad and The Ugly). He was at his best with the legendary Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone.

The amount of feminism, if any, is minute at best. Women are the victims, they don't really become empowered and every single time they have to be avenged by a man. The whole thing portrays women as weak, even though they seek revenge, they are shown to be weak enough to do it on their own.
Seeing them how we want is not what my initial post was all about. My view on his portrayal of women is factually correct. I mean you've seen them, if you're reasonable you can tell.

Women being assaulted just happened to be part of the story, what's important is how he treated it after the fact.

I've been a long time watching all movies,
and Clint Eastwood's is no actor worth remembering.
What I got from his bio is he was a lousy family man! All about him when it came to
family or his spaghetti westerns. I would like to hear his first wife who had his children come out with the truth about this B movie actor, as a father and husband.
Her voice would be silenced, but quick.

Do you have any idea of how much better the movie industry is because of actor/directors such as Clint Eastwood? You can't make a judgment on an actor based on his domestic life, Tom Cruise is a Scientologist but people still respect him for being an actor. Sort your life out mate.
