  • blasphemy.

  • Stupid

  • Not a Christian, but your example is lame. You admit before you even finish your instructions you "expect" nothing. Expectation (faith) is the pre-requisite to a "manifestation' of psychic phenomena. 2ndly, the instructions you cite were given to those who did know how to focus their consciousness, not a "skeptic", who has 'faith" nothing will happen. 3rdly, it wouldn't matter anyway, as there would be no way to verify the actual identity of the entity which would appear. 4th, It's been done.

  • I simply won't waste my time with the "what if you're wrong?" question. Many have torpedoed that rickety boat better than I ever could in 500 characters.

As for your first question, I never said Jesus did not exist. I am perfectly willing to accept that he did...and this changes nothing. Isn't it so much more likely that he was a social revolutionary who so upset the Pharisees and Romans that they killed him to silence him? There need not be any gods or fairy tales to make this powerful...

  • @ReclaimAmber

Imagine if you, as an ardent atheist, were to suddenly find yourself standing in the incredible light of God, experiencing an epiphany moment, which went on to change your entire perspective on reality, forever, would you feel duty-bound to try and get that vital truth out to the world?

They've lied to you all of your life, the majority of whom aren't even aware they're doing it, e.g. the government, science, business, education, even the institutionalized religions.

  • :p

  • Ill prove to you that Jesus isn't imaginary from 2 other authors writings.. The works of Flavius Julius and Tacitus show us two other historians BELIEVED IN 1. Jesus's existence 2. His 'more than human' status 3. his miracle working 4. His teaching 5. His ministry among the Jews and the Gentiles 6. His Messiahship 7. His condemnation by the Jewish priests 8. His sentence by Pilate 9. His death on the cross . For you to say for me not to believe in Jesus is absurd.

  • @UScatholicapologist Who gives a crap who BELIEVED, okay? Belief is not a denominator of truth. If it was, then mohamed would be the ultimate savior, according to the stupid muslims. People like you are the problem, the direct antithesis of the actual problems facing humanity.

  • @FreeHeretic Amen, brother! Funny how among theists, belief + a big mouth + a pencil and paper = proof. Of course, we should probably be grateful to them. If we didn't have these gullible people who believe things without any shred of evidence, then the psychopaths of the world might be targeting us instead of them.

  • @UScatholicapologist If you are referring to Flavius Julius Crispus, he was born 305 years after Jesus, and thus had absolutely no factual evidence himself. Furthermore, he was born a christian (the first Roman ruler born into christianity), and was probably indoctrinated before he could crawl. As for Tacitus, a single passage in his Annals mentions how an early christian revolt was put down by mass execution, following the execution of their namesake. No mention of divinity, no belief...

  • @ReclaimAmber I dont have to prove Jesus' divinity to win this argument all I had to do was prove that Jesus existed.

  • @UScatholicapologist Tacitus actually speaks about the christians with contempt, calling them an abomination and indicating that they were more of a socio-revolutionary movement attacking the establishment in Judea and later Rome itself. Although details of Tacitus's life are sketchy, it is fairly certain he was never anywhere near Judea, and got his information on this subject second-hand (at best). Not proof. Not anything but acknowledgement that christians were a pain in the ass, even then.

  • @ReclaimAmber

If Jesus had never existed, as you appear to be inferring, where did all of these Christians suddenly spring up from?

And who was this leader of theirs, who was deemed worthy of a mention in the Annals of Tacitus, no less?

  • @DastardlyDawkins The story of Jesus holds so much more meaning if seen for the transformative message of the here-and-now, as he himself no doubt wanted. Stop giving your money to corrupt temples, stop placing your faith in corrupt priests, stop god-based violence...in short, tear up the mechanisms of mind control and be a good fucking person. The message is quite clear, and I think the real Jesus would have been sickened to find that it was subverted by yet another group seeking control..

  • @DastardlyDawkins Oh, and you still have not answered my last question. Are you inferring that the God of the Old Test is different from the God of the New Test? The quote you invoked regarding Moses vs Jesus is typically used to assert that Jesus has redefined God to both break from the Old Test and at the same time to bring those prophecies to completion. Was that your intention, or did you just throw that out there to sound like you've read the thing?

  • God is real

  • @BaBanonoo89 Evidence?

  • Dionysus was born a son of a god in earthly human form, and his mother se mele was taken by him and raised up to heaven after she died. Dionysus had the ability to turn water into wine. He died buried and was resurected (every year) as so was the vine. Dionysus was known as being reborn because he had two births. Unlike other gods, Dionysus could and did suffer. His followers would eat of his body and drank of his blood. It makes sense for Zeus to have forced himself, but not Yahweh.

  • I want one thing to ask the one who created this video do u know everything in this world or u a quiet very intelligent person if u claim there is no god can u resolve the mystery of humans very creation when there r so many scientist could not fin an answer everyone just imagines there own answer... can u weight an air.. can u number the stars in our sky.. can u tell life after death.. can u tell the exact time & date of the worlds end.. Can u say wat is the real theme of Bermuda triangle.. .

  • If u can answer these questions i accept the video.. if u cant then i will tell u something.. when u cant even tell an answer for these questions that u live with day to day life.. how can u just run ur mouth on a such a power full GOD.. when ur little sand sized brain cant even answer these questions that i have asked u.. then ur sucking useless brain cant understand my GOD & ur not fit to worship my GOD & not funking fit to run ur mouth on my GOD..

  • For my GOD is mercy full u r still alive.. But i say to u it would have been better if u would have never been born in this world.. ur tiny brains r such a useless to prove r even think abt GOD.. for ur brains cant even understand the world u live so u cant understand the majestic GOD who created this.. better stop now r u will perish ur soul in the burning fire bcz of ur useless mouth that is utter waste for u to have.. better u cut ur tong for that is wat is leading u to sin... ..

  • Let the mighty son of GOD save u from the anger of heavenly father...

  • @merilturock By "son of god", do you mean Horus, or Krishna, or Mithras, or Perseus, or Apollo, or Dionysus, or Theseus, or Huitzilopochtli, or Ion, or Pan, or Romulus, or Buddha, or Prometheus...

Thank you for the blessing, though. May the mighty JuJu of the Mountain save you from the anger of Flying Spaghetti Monster.

  • @ReclaimAmber i do not think buddha is a god?

  • @merilturock so youre saying that just cause theres something we dont understand that we need to insert the answer as god just automatically and that the guy who made this video is and idiot and he deserves to burn in hell or not live at all? dont you think that a man should be judged based on his actions rather then if he puts blind faith into something that cant be proven. i cant think of one fucking person that deserves to burn forever. no one in history deserves that

  • @merilturock and ask yourself this. what if a christian made a video saying they could prove jesus was real, and an atheist put a comment similar to yours. You'd probably think he was a prick, but apparently you find no fault at all in what you just said.

  • @merilturock and one more thing if someone puts something up that you find offensive you dont have to fucking watch it dude. just in case you didn't realize that already

  • @TheUnknownheroe Hey, dude, don't scare them away. I'm having too much fun.

  • @merilturock Allow me...

    1) the specific weight of air = 7.492 lbs per cubic foot at 70 degrees Farenheit

    2) the number of stars in the sky = 300 sextillion (3 followed by 23 zeroes) give or take.

    3) life after death = only if you can afford it (you can't).

    4) exact time and date of the world's end = 12/21/2012, 12noon...sharp!

    5) the Bermuda Triangle = complete and utter horse shit for weak minds.

Flawless victory. Now go and quote me a Bible verse to prove that the Bible is truth.

  • @ReclaimAmber

"It's a bitterly sad thing indeed, having to endure the desperate rantings of the lowly reductionist, who, by his own free will, unwittingly consigns himself to that barren, grey skied, permafrost ridden, island of logic." - anon.

I'm substituting for the Bible, mainly because the infinite wisdom contained within the Word of God, would most probably be lost on you, so maybe something else might do the trick.

    We can but try......

    :)

  • @DastardlyDawkins "Sticking consistently to any one position sooner or later leads to logical difficulties." - Anon

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

So many great gems of "infinite wisdom" to choose from. Shall we continue?

  • @ReclaimAmber

    Please, be my guest....

  • @DastardlyDawkins They shall fall by the sword: Their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child (pregnant women) shall be ripped up! - direct quote from God, Hosea 13:16 Their children should be dashed to pieces before their eyes. Their houses spoiled and their wives raped... Dash their young men to pieces... Have no pity on the fruit of the womb, The children shall not be spared." - direct quote from God, Isa 13:16-18 Child murder, rape, genocide...a fine day's work. More?
  • @ReclaimAmber

Anybody can quote scriptures, but divine interpretation is established only through a communion with the Holy Spirit of God.

“This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”

From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.' - Gospel of John, 1:15 - 17

  • @DastardlyDawkins Indeed, anyone can quote scriptures, though few ever understand them. Usually, people quote them as evidence that they are true, which is a circular and illegitimate form of discourse...the Bible is true because the Bible is the word of God because the Bible says so. Closed circle.

And when cornered by those who do not subscribe to faulty reasoning, the quoter will resort to an arrogant assertion that he has been granted some grace or insight that others are too dense to see.

  • @ReclaimAmber

All of your reasoning here is faulty, simply because you start from a position which excludes the possibility of God, therefore every other conclusion you reach thereafter, assume several presuppositions which cannot be supported by physical evidence, nor any other type of evidence for that matter.

In other words, what if you're wrong?

  • @DastardlyDawkins Oh, and since the word "communion" is defined as the act of sharing, or holding in common, or participation, I would assert that you have no such experience. The Holy Spirit has never said a single word to you or anyone else, and therefore whatever voices you might be hearing should be a cause for alarm among you and your family.

Next question: your last quote would indicate a belief that the New Testament God is different than the Old Testament God. Is that your assertion?

  • @ReclaimAmber Let me tell u something wat ever human beings find its always not perfect.. there will be lot of mistakes in it.. bcz no human being is perfect.. for eg: The worlds grates scientist Einstein said that LIGHT is the speediest thing in this universe but now LIGHT is not.. such a world genie has made a mistake now they say cosmic is the speediest thing in this universe.. now come to natural things plant, animal take4 the entire universe there is no mistake in it..

  • bcz its created by GOD.. wat ever human being discover or find there is fault.. Lets see ur prediction the end of the world first they said that the world will end in 2000 but it did not.. now they say 2012 dont worry i say un to u it will not end.. & i will be here remember i will come here & reply u on the very next day.. then i will see where u keep ur funking face on earth.. Its very clearly that 2012 is a scam news.. For u people always want prove lets get u the truth...

  • @merilturock Who is the "they" you are referring to?

"They" are religious fanatics. Nobody who bases their lives on reason and evidence gives a rat's ass about those foolish religious prophecies. The belief that the world would end in 2000 came from (drumroll please) CHRISTIANS, who thought it looked like a nice round anniversary of Jesus's birth (which they also got wrong). 2010, the Mayans. Should we all go cut out someone's heart so the sun will rise again tomorrow? Know your facts please.

  • @merilturock Took me a day to translate that, but I believe you are referring to the OPERA study in September of 2011, which claimed to clock neutrinos at a superluminal speed. Here is the almost immediate scientific refutation of that mistaken claim:

In a paper posted Saturday on the same website as the OPERA results, arxiv.org/abs/1110.3763v2, the ICARUS team says their findings "refute a superluminal (faster than light) interpretation of the OPERA result". - Robert Evans, Reuters, Nov 2011

  • @merilturock

    In closing,

    Einstein: still the man

You: still an inarticulate and desperate prisoner of your own mind

  • Comment removed

  • It doesn't mean Jesus is imaginary. It could just mean that the Bible is contradictory. You can't "prove" anything.

  • @Xystosis uh .. actually the bible is referred to as the book without contradiction :$

  • @TheThomashillock Right, but if you've ever read the Bible you'd know that that's untrue. There are verses contradicting other verses everywhere

  • @Xystosis please just accept that god is imaginary and he's son was a crazy fraud

  • @Giulicchio Please stop saying idiotic things that have no factual basis.

  • @Xystosis this video also does not has any meaning in it the one who created is an fool like u..

  • @merilturock Look, because your intelligence level is so low it is off the chart, I'll try to speak using words five letters or fewer. Why don't you learn how to spell before you start calling other people fools? People like you are pathetic (sorry, you probably don't even know what that means). Instead of blindly lashing out at people, try to have a thoughtful discussion. Sorry that some words in there were too big for you; I tried my best.

  • Lol, who tried the prayer and jesus didnt come? XD

  • @Mast3r1sGr3at so, you claim yours is a JUST God? I got 4 words for ya: The Book of Joshua! Telling his "Chosen People" to rape, pillage, plunder, and massacre innocent people without ANY moral justification whatsoever. And doesn't your bible say he's the same yesterday, today, and forever?

  • @Mast3r1sGr3at "God will never fail" WRONG! FAIL #1 Remember: he supposedly sent the "Great Flood" to wipe evil off the face of the Earth. Funny, it sure didn't stay gone long! If the story is true, and Noah's gang was the only people left on Earth, wouldn't that mean THEY are the people who brought the evil back?

  • @DrGiggles68 The descendants of Noah and the other people on the arc brought evil back because ever since the fall we are always born in sin. So we are selfish from birth. We want only for ourselves. Notice how you never have to teach a baby to be bad. God just wiped evil off the earth. Doesn't mean the Devil isn't there deceiving people.

  • @xXxSiLEncErXx Do you hear what you are saying? Really? It saddens me to see someone tie themselves in rhetorical knots to defend the defenseless. What kind of psychological damage are you doing to children by teaching them that they are all evil and selfish by nature, and that this can only be changed by slavishly groveling to a bearded (and white, of course...this part is somehow important to a lot you) guy in the sky who was viciously murdered because of their evil sins?

  • @ReclaimAmber I hear what I'm saying.

And I'm not doing anything. No one teaches them that(possibly in some cult they might, or someone with a really jacked up view of the Bible). Would you not say we're all selfish by birth? Baby's can't help themselves, so they're dependent on their mother's, so all they know is being handed things and being pleased. So they have to be taught otherwise; to help themselves, be responsible, etc. . . .

  • @ReclaimAmber . . .You're the one trashing something you've only had other unintelligible people tell you about.

  • My thoughts: atheists believe "science" proves everything. God is smarter then us, and is higher then us. Do you reall think he would allow himself to be discovered, so then we would be tempted to do good, therfore we would all get into heaven, not because we want to do what's right, but because we fear eternity in Hell. Science can be disproven. I don't care what any atheist says, i believe God and Jesus are real. It just seems so retarted to say something you haven't looked into is fake.

  • @skylerrb yes, but your going on that fact that Jesus and God are real, but there is so much evidence stacked up against them that they are not real, your argument doesnt work.

  • @skylerrb Challenge: make a video response to this video using non-biblical evidence to prove that God or even Jesus do or have existed. OH then send me the link :D I'm agnostic so im still iffy on either side... hence the reason why i watched the video XD

  • Jesus won't do anything if it's not God's will. Plus, the Bible states Satan rules earth. Plus, not everything will be given as you asked. God will say "It is not your will." Appearing is an important fact. Although you dont believe, he will judge you one day. And one day, you will be judged indeed. God could kill you anytime, anywhere, and anyhow. He is a just God and will never fail. God would kill you know, BUT HE is a merciful God. I witnessed alot of miracles in Jesus' name. Universe VS you

  • @Mast3r1sgr3at Argument: but doesn't God love us all unconditionally ? Is God not forgiving ? Also, can you prove that these 'miracles' are miracles? or are they simply coincidences that worked beneficially ?

  • @Mast3r1sgr3at Indeed, Satan rules the earth. Unquestionably. As I seem to observe, most of our more powerful nations demand that their elected officials (or brutal despots, take your pick) be men of faith. If you live in the US, you know this and probably believe it yourself. Not just faith here, but an established evangelical pro-zionist Judeo-Christian church. Then Vatican rules quite a few lives, as do the Mullahs in Iran and the Imams in every other Muslim country. Yep, Satan indeed.

  • Jesus answered, "It says: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'" Luke 4:12 There is no reason to ask Jesus to appear to us because that would be testing Him. If you truly believe and have faith, then you know that Jesus is and will come back for the final judgement. He will not just appear because you want Him to. Plus, He wants us to all love Him and worship Him and not all of us do, so why, when we want Him to do something for us, would He do it?

  • @abbieslovesmrj1711 they sky is purple. do you believe that? no. why? because you can empirically prove that the sky is not purple but blue, grey, or black. I tell you that God exists. Do you believe that? yes. Why? because you have no evidence to prove otherwise. Religion is simply for those who fear death.

  • @TheThomashillock Tell me, why do you think people believe in God? Because they want to. It's not easy living in such an ugly corrupt world, there is no certainty and nothing to hope for. People are lost so they reach out. Don't you get it? God didn't create humans, no, it's humans who created God.

  • It doesn't say God will do anything on EARTH, but in HEAVEN. Also, by Jesus being among us, it is referring to the Holy Spirit, which cannot be seen by the eye, but the heart. And it is ok for Jesus to appear, but even if he did, there would still be billions of people who would never believe in him, so why would he? Jesus is so imaginary? I think it takes more imagination and just sheer nonacceptance to be an Atheist.

  • You are totally wrong! Two billion people do not believe in Jesus Christ! Two billion people live in so called Christian countries! I live in Britain which is supposedly a Christian country, yet only 6 per cent of the population of my country in recent surveys regularly attends church. Furthmore in recent surveys only ten per cent of the population claim to be practicing Christians.

  • Who can honestly say that on hearing Jesus teachings they are not moved........Anyone who does not feel their power in his sayings and deeds...deserves no proof whatsoever.

  • @gianmarievolonte1

If he is an imposter then treating this life like it is a bus stop is one of the most immoral teachings a regular man could ever wish for his fellow humans to believe.

Having men despise themselves for not living up to some impossible standard is pretty disgusting too.

And while I am at it, an invitation to scapegoat your personal and rightful consequences for wrongs onto an innocent other so that you can be washed clean of them is baiting our least moral selves.

  • @gianmarievolonte1 thats ignorant

  • Read the Bible New Testament .....Seek the meaning and dont let people put you off.....If physical proof was needed Jesus could have supplied it but then his harvest would contain wheat and chaff...His parables were the perfect way of sorting them out.

  • You are simply going over old ground from when Thomas wanted proof and Nicodemus and disciples to..............Jesus said Blessed are those you beleive and have not seen.If the proof you wanted came in the way you suggest the majority of people good and bad will convert .or pretend to...tottally missing the Gospel message..Blessed are the pure in heart. If you wanted the proof you desire Jesus could have done that 2000 yeras ago and thats what the Zealots expected.

  • I'm personally a non-believer, an atheist, but vids like this are just so stupid. Everyone knows that they don't need proof or physical evidence to believe the way they believe. Why criticize someone's faith because your an asshole? Some people need this shit dude, for whatever reason they cling to it because they experienced some trauma and this helps them. This shit is so totally sophomoric... Zzzzzzzzzzz

  • here's a good way to tell

why did an all-powerful god need a child in order to give eternal life at the result of a quandary HE caused supposedly several thousand years in the past?

  • It worked! . . .

    Psych!

  • I'm an atheist, but Jesus was a living man. He may have been no son of god, but he's been proven to have lived.

  • lol

where do u think we go after death?

    Is it all over?

So all this magnificent creation is only a cycle of death, only an accident?

We're a great creation which will only leave greatness behind after we die?

If u were so smart and knew it all, wouldn't u be the greatest?

But no ur just an equal person like everyone; not smarter nor dumber.

So please quit acting like u know it all

let me know when u have the world on the pawn of ur hand fool

  • You base your argument wholly on your interpretation of the New Testament, which you remove from context utterly, and fail to comprehend what is actually meant in those statements. You say that this proves Jesus is imaginary, but there are other possible things that it proves too. The suggested prayer also goes counter to the rest of Scripture indicating the conditions upon which Jesus would return. This is a lame attempt to enrage Christians and encourage atheists.

  • Alright, atheists, here's a challenge for you: Prove that Jesus is NOT imaginary in less than 5 minutes. Prove without a doubt that there is no God...I want EVIDENCE, not mere words.

  • @sharon501able

You can't 'prove' a negative. I can't prove that invisible unicorns don't actually exist. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. The responsibility for proof lies with the people making the claim (that would be you). If you claim that God/Jesus is real, cough up the evidence. Good luck.

  • @sharon501able

No uncaused cause exists. Everything that exists is from cause and effect. Not uncaused and effect. Everything from cause and effect is bound by time and space

No god exists. As none has made itself known

  • @sharon501able

Proof jesus is imaginary...spirit that is your god is immaterial. Immaterial things dont exist, hence imaginary

Your jesus was supposedly flesh and bones. It would go against your gods nature being material

  • “Seeing is believing,” we say, but actually we believe in many things we don’t see. It’s only when we don’t want to believe something that we make the rules more difficult and say we have to see it to believe it.

    Grow up kid.

  • Finally someone has said it! THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES ON!!!!

  • People used logic to burn witches.

  • now this video was so simple and plan that even the stupidest person on the planet could understand it. but you best believe that these religous nut jobs will find a way to refute it. look if i was you guys i wouldnt even bother trying to convince them. they have been too brainwashed by the religous institution.now i do believe that there is a universal concious that we are all connected to but that conciousness is not some dude in the clouds looking down on us that pop up like some genie .

  • I bet u said that prayer?? Right?? Well why would he respond to someone who doesn't believe in him... so if u meant it I guerentee he will show him self in some way... and he also went to heaven so he isn't hear... but he does give tons of signs... quit picking threw the bible and find the facts he is real... and u are looking threw a book that is prooving he is real?? Nice...

  • @xXSnipaLegendXx Jesus is merciful and forgives anyone even if you give up on him he will not give up on you and yet you say :"Well why would he respond to someone who doesn't believe in him." that's odd

  • person who's speaking in this video... i really pity you. you'll find out when you die. you'll be on your knees and your tongue will confess. Faith, GIIVideo, is a gift. you have not received that gift.

  • @lukekimxd Faith is not a gift, it's an excuse for believing in something without evidence and oftentimes (especially in religious cases) for believing in something in the face of tons of contrasting evidence. That's not a good quality to have.

  • @DryBones60 see? you don't have the gift.

  • @lukekimxd I had "the gift" of faith for 18 years until I realized how blind it made me and how callously I viewed any attempt to show me that I was wrong. Now I've got this even better quality called reason. And I empathize greatly with people who are stuck thinking that faith is some wonderful gift. When in reality it's a tool used in religion to keep you from asking too many important questions. Your gift is a fancy box, tied up nicely.. but on the inside it is completely empty.

  • @DryBones60 after we take our last breath and die, we'll find out. at least that's what i believe. if you don't, then whatever. live this short life to its fullest and leave behind the outcome of your hard work, and take with you the reward of void/non-existence. =)

  • @DryBones60

Faith is certainly not a virtue unless there is some information to indicate that it is earned, deserved, or well placed if that faith can be of service to another individual to be their best selves.

  • Its a bit douchey but eh the idea is simple, why believe in a man that has nothing about him written outside the bible ?

  • I am an atheist, and I believe in Jesus. Are you really ignorant enough to think there is only 2 options, and those are: Jesus is the son of god, and can do anything, and that Jesus doesn't exist? I don't believe there is a god, but I do believe Jesus was a real person.

  • There is no God, americans are stupid, Jesus was a drugdealer and Santa lives in Finland! All these things are real!

  • it says in the Bible to not test the God your Father and where would your faith be if you saw Him?

  • @soccerfan3731

Who cares about faith? Knowledge is what is valuable.

Faith just proves that you are willing to be gullible.

  • This guy is not abreast on scholarly research. Read THE HISTORICAL JESUS, by Habermas --for starters.

  • William branham.... man of GOD.... Malachi 4:5-6 KJV

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.... God promise to send us Elijah and he did..

  • How is Jesus' existence any more plausible than that of Santa Clause? How is Christian faith any more valid than any other? Its all fantasy and wish thinking to me.

  • Any X (e.g. (a) god) that (A) commands us to love it (i.e. totalitarian servility) and/or (B) makes us sick yet demands us be well and/or (C) promises in-finite (or eternal) punishment in order to redress finite (or temporal) crimes is a demon (i.e. torturer, sadist).

  • I'm 13 and I can explain this. God doesnt appear to everyone just because they want to see his face, if he were to do that then there would be no way for us to prove that we are worthy of Heaven. It's supposed to be challenging in a way for us to believe in him. Besides, you underestimate just who you are talking about; this isnt the president, or even the pope who you are asking to see, it's GOD, your lord, creator, and savior. FAITH is, believing because it's already been proven in many ways.

  • @rerebeccaw great comment... 2000 years ago world is full of sin so our lord send his son as a bigot to die on cross for us named JESUS

I THINK THE WORLD IS MORE SINFUL THAN 2000 YEARS AGO why dont he send an other bi-gotten son for our sin so all these atheist would realize out god is real

this would end the argument on existential reality of god

    comments welcome

  • @rerebeccaw Well if he knows everything then he should already know if you're worthy of heaven. Some great god though, the punishment for simply not believing (even if you're a good person) is eternal torture for ever and ever with no reprieve but he refuses to give any real evidence so that those that he created to be doubtful or those who were taught a different religion from birth could believe as well. It's a good thing there isn't any reason to believe in that sadistic tyrant.

  • My mother Had Jesus appear to her in the 1960's, not in a dream or a vision but right there in front of her in some of her during on of the most difficult times of her life.

He spoke to her and told her everthing would be alright.

    Jesus is real

  • @lespaulcopy61 I can't even begin.

  • @lespaulcopy61 No time for a photo op?

  • @lespaulcopy61 just replace word Jesus with ghost in your comment...

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its just an another ghost story named changed

    comments welcome

  • Jesus will not appear to us because He has the fulness of His glory. If you look at the transfiguration, you will notice that the 2 apostles cannot bear to look at Jesus because he was revealing some of His glory, thereby blinding the 2 apostles. It is impossible for humans to physically see the Lord because His glory is too great for humans to experience.

  • @skaterrater94 It baffles me, the complete and utter disgust I feel towards the human race knowing that there are creatures out there such as yourself who believe this incoherent and repulsive idea of what god would be. But don't listen to me, argue back with me because if you don't then the god that loves you so much will stop loving you, and roast you and boil you for eternity. "After coming into contact with a religious man, I sometimes feel I must wash my hands." - Friedrich Nietzsche

  • "Not 100 in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is." -- Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. That's all.

  • @thepepis anyone who roast me boils me or torture for eternity for questioning him, not following him would not be a god

  • @sharon501able

I'm an extremely happy atheist. I have no issues with Christians wanting to believe, just keep your judgements to yourself and keep it out of the constitution.

  • Actually had a Jesus experience (very profound and moving) but you wont hear me parroting the bible. If Jesus really had appeared in front of this man my guess is he would say something like: " you are obviously not Jesus since you do not actually exist" for the science headed there would have to be some other angle taken to support the 'rational' view on things. Why not try seeing things differently? That statement applies to all of us.....

  • A wicked & adultress generation seeketh after signs....but none shall be given.

  • You completely skip over the "in My name" portion of your "test". Ask in His name and it will be done for you. But you seek your answers about life in another way and that's too bad for you. Know Jesus for who He is and you will know peace with God the Father. That's really fantastically good news because right now, you live a cursed life. But, be born again and finally have peace. Not a big bad of gold but true peace that will endure far beyond all trials you'll endure.

  • wen jesus says that he will appear,he wanted to say in the person of the holy spirit,my friend... we don't READ bible but we MEDITATE it...otherwise you will have reactions stupid as you...

  • You know I have prayers answered all the time. My answered prayers are to many to list but the most important was my prayers for my husband when he had his heart attack but my biggest prayer is for those who don't believe, you're gonna need them. Maybe the reason yours are not answered is because you don't believe!!!

  • @1rodfan631963 Or maybe the reason atheists' prayers are answered is because God isn't real.

  • @1rodfan631963 you know 'God' isn't a fairy, therefore you don't need to believe for him to answer and have you considered maybe doctors & nurses might have helped your husband through a heart attack? yeah, maybe you should start giving them some credit first.

  • @lessie905 Well, Thank you I did give them credit!! Well deserved credit but when the DR. himself tells me it was by the Grace of GOD that he was able to pull my Husband ot of a massive heart attack at the age of 39.....Well there ya go. so I will leave you with this..As a believer, if I am wrong and there is nothing in the end but death so be it... But IF you are wrong.....Well..... GOD help you!!!

  • I couldnt do step 1 because i dont owwn a bible and i dont know why anyone should

  • Be honest with yourselves, atheists, are you ever truly happy? Have you ever experienced true joy, and peace that surpasses human understanding, even in the most tragic or trying circumstances? In a belief system where everything and everyone simply ends in death, I'm sure the answer would be no. Some of you answer Christian posts with such venom and such hatred...why? We don't hate those who have different beliefs than we do, so why do you hate us Christians so much?

  • @sharon501able

    "true joy and peace"

Heroin can provide that. So does the belief that you will live forever in some way.

    Choose your drug.

Of course when you do that you will never have the spirituality of maturely accepting the way things are without the anxiety of keeping an alternative reality alive for yourself so that you can continue to drug yourself with thoughts of avoiding death.

It's a pity you will never know the contentment of maturity by abandoning wish thinking.

  • @yankinCanada Okay, so you are saying that heroin can provide "true joy and peace?" Have you seen what heroin does to people over time? Come on now, surely you can't compare drug addiction with the joy and peace that the Lord can provide to believers. Drugs provide a temporary illusion of joy and peace, God provides the real deal. Compare a raving drug addict with someone who has the "light of the Lord" on them and see the difference. But addicts can find the true peace of God if they seek it.

  • @sharon501able

I didn't say that heroin provides ONGOING peace and joy.

Don't miss the point on purpose. I consider that dishonest.

  • You are a rambling mess venting from your own perspective and self conflicts. You have no srong evidence and no structure within your argument, not even importance. Grow up and deal with your own faith issues instead of weakly attempting to involve others, and their faith with this pathetic bullshit.

  • @zzzJustBlazedxxx I don't feel as though I am rambling, nor do I feel that I am smarter or more superior than any of you. It just amazes me how atheists will go to any length or come up with any reason, no matter how silly, to try and disprove the existence of One greater than themselves.Do you really think humans are capable of creating everything that lives on this planet...even from the beginning? We had a beginning on earth, and will have an end. God

  • For those who believe in the big bang theory, have you ever heard of an explosion, (big bang) creating life? From what I see explosions (big bangs) destroy life, not create it! Think of the victims of 9-11, the Oklahoma City bombings, the unibomber, etc. Many lives were destroyed by these and many other bombings (big bangs). So, as an intelligent person, what makes the most sense, the big bang theory, or God, the Creator of life?

  • @sharon501able are you seriously asking that question or are you being sarcastic.

  • @advers1078 I am seriously asking that question and I would seriously like an answer. Thank you.

  • @sharon501able Is that a joke? At least we can fairly provide evidence with the Big Bang - try explaining God. And dont try to rationalize a matter like that with your own little insignificant brain to try and process this for yourself. As people our only existence depends upon our ability to experience existence. So we cant begin to interpret the theory of God, but through science our existence widens - and now we are capable of constructing explanations like the Big Bang Theory.

  • How do you prove something isn't real, you can't. What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof. And as to why atheists like to try and disprove god is because 2/7 of the EARTH's inhabitants believe in Jesus, and it's really a shame that they believe what an old primitive style book says is truth. I don't believe things that I WANT to be true, that's called being narrow minded.

  • @caseykc18 It's not about "proving something is real." It is about faith and your spiritual awakening. You and every living being on this planet has a spirit as well as a physical body. The way you communicate with is God is by your spirit, as God is a spirit being. You can't see him, but through faith, you can "feel" him. You will never be able to understand that as an unbeliever, only a believer will understand. Jesus said "Blessed is he that has not seen, but yet has believed."

  • @sharon501able

There are mental hospitals filled with folks who feel all kinds of entities that no one else can see.

The mind is very good at self hypnotizing and creating an alternative reality to the liking of the host if the host wants a certain alternative reality.

  • @yankinCanada If the mind is such a powerful thing, where in the world did this intelligence come from? A bunch of matter just came together and created these working bodies of humans and animals which have a soul and a spirit, supplied us food and water so that we could survive, and also gave us common sense. Does thinking that we got here by any other means than by the Creator of life (God) defies common sense. Have you ever seen intelligent matter is capable of creating life?

  • @sharon501able That is where you are wrong. Can't you see the holes and flaws... If your parents or guardian or elders had never told you about god, would you still "feel" it. I mean would you feel it if you were independent. Because I sure as hell know that somebody told you about it. When you were in your infant days, did you "feel" this god. NO, somebody had to tell you about it. You can not say the same about people who trust scientists, because they do not feel these things, but accept them

  • @caseykc18 lol NO children are born believers ---->tgr. ph/i0bA3M

  • Someone who does not know the love of the Lord may call this man crazy for singing praises to God after suffering so much tragedy. It simply shows that even devout believers sometimes suffer great tribulation! But God, in his eternal love and mercy toward us will give us the grace and peace to endure. Oh yes, believe me we still hurt and we still may cry many tears, but God gives us the strength to continue on. Instead of an atheist trying to rob believers of that peace, why not join us?

  • In the late 1800's a lawyer named Horatio Spafford lost almost everything in the Great Chicago fire. Shortly afterward, his only son died at 4 years old. His grieving wife and 4 daughters went on a cruise to get away for awhile while he stayed behind to take care of business matters. He was to meet them later. However, the ship collided with a barge killing all 4 of his daughters. His wife somehow survived. On the way to meeting her, he penned the song, "It is well With My Soul." God's peace!!

  • Why do atheists spend so much time and energy trying to disprove the existence of God to Christians? Perhaps they can see that our faith makes us happier people overall and seem able to stand stronger in the face of adversity than their peers. Envy, perhaps? Yes we may appear strange to them, they just cannot understand the peace of the Lord; the peace that surpasses all understanding. Before Jesus left his grieving disciples, he promised," Peace, I leave with you, not as the world giveth..."

  • wow... I am totally convinced!!!... hmmmm, sarcasm??? I think YES!

  • And those children are rewarded with an eternal reward, greater than anything they ever had on earth. The children are precious in the Lord's sight and they already have God's favor. Of course, as an atheist, you would never be able to understand this. I hope that one day your spiritual eyes will become open and you will understand how blind you have been all this time.

  • The kingdom of heaven is near. And before you respond, I love you also.

  • I'm an atheist too, but this is a lousy argument. An atheist cherry-picking convenient passages and interpreting the Bible as "literal truth" to prove their point stoops to the same level as Christians. An "intelligent" person can figure that the Bible was written by men, and men are inconsistent and LIE. Maybe Jesus existed, but didn't really perform miracles. Maybe he was a cultist and his followers wanted to be right, and fabricated the resurrection. But none of this proves Jesus WASN'T real.

  • @NeutralNewt

It really doesn't matter what passages you pick. You are not cherry picking if it is obvious the whole thing is bullshit. As you just noted.

    Marking this comment, "thumbs down".

  • Do atheists believe in Satan or demons?

  • I am going to get very personal right now. Yes, my family has suffered great loss in the last few years, including my young son, but let me tell you, in the midst of my grief, the Lord showed up. I don't care what you believe, but He allowed me to see in a vision my deceased loved ones again smiling and looking joyous. I don't drink or use drugs, but I know what I saw and what I felt. Nothing any doubter can say will take that away. To see me today, you will never know what I've been through

  • @sharon501able "I don't drink or use drugs" Your faith is your drug.

It feels very heartless to argue with you about this, but you play that card to win a point.

Is not the death of your son evidence enough that your faith failed to protect you?

Your brainwashed but still working brain try everything to make up an excuse for it, and that is why you get the illusions you have. Fact is that you are not the only one with tears, more then 30000 children die every day of starvation.

  • mathew 18 is taken out of context, the section is Mathew 18:15-20 look it up in context and read commentary by a biblical scholar who understands the context it was written if you want to understand it.

  • Jesus is the only way to heaven, if you don't believe in Jesus, you all go to hell.

  • @sharon501able he's not real it is so simple there is 0 evidence he is real, and don't say everything is proof that he's real, the big bang theory has plenty of evidence supporting evolution and the universes creation. I have 1 question for you where did god come from?
