It doesn't say God will do anything on EARTH, but in HEAVEN. Also, by Jesus being among us, it is referring to the Holy Spirit, which cannot be seen by the eye, but the heart. You base your argument wholly on your interpretation of the New Testament, which you remove from context utterly, and fail to comprehend what is actually meant in those statements. You say that this proves Jesus is imaginary, but there are other possible things that it proves too. The suggested prayer also goes counter to the rest of Scripture indicating the conditions upon which Jesus would return. This is a lame attempt to enrage Christians and encourage atheists.
Alright, atheists, here's a challenge for you: Prove that Jesus is NOT imaginary in less than 5 minutes. Prove without a doubt that there is no God...I want EVIDENCE, not mere words.

@lukekimxd I had "the gift" of faith for 18 years until I realized how blind it made me and how callously I viewed any attempt to show me that I was wrong. Now I've got this even better quality called reason. And I empathize greatly with people who are stuck thinking that faith is some wonderful gift. I'm 13 and I can explain this. God doesnt appear to everyone just because they want to see his face, if he were to do that then there would be no way for us to prove that we are worthy of Heaven. Furthermore, he was born a christian (the first Roman ruler born into christianity), and was probably indoctrinated before he could crawl. As for Tacitus, a single passage in his Annals mentions how an early christian revolt was put down by mass execution, following the execution of their namesake. No mention of divinity, no belief...

Although details of Tacitus's life are sketchy, it is fairly certain he was never anywhere near Judea, and got his information on this subject second-hand (at best). Not proof. All of your reasoning here is faulty, simply because you start from a position which excludes the possibility of God, therefore every other conclusion you reach thereafter, assume several presuppositions which cannot be supported by physical evidence, nor any other type of evidence for that matter.

From the time children are old enough to attend sunday school, they are taught that all people are born into sin. They are taught that children already have stained souls. It doesn't say God will do anything on EARTH, but in HEAVEN. Also, by Jesus being among us, it is referring to the Holy Spirit, which cannot be seen by the eye, but the heart. And it is ok for Jesus to appear, but even if he did, there would still be billions of people who would never believe in him, so why would he? Jesus is so imaginary? I think it takes more imagination and just sheer nonacceptance to be an Atheist.

You say that this proves Jesus is imaginary, but there are other possible things that it proves too. The suggested prayer also goes counter to the rest of Scripture indicating the conditions upon which Jesus would return. This is a lame attempt to enrage Christians and encourage atheists.

Now I've got this even better quality called reason. And I empathize greatly with people who are stuck thinking that faith is some wonderful gift. I'm 13 and I can explain this. God doesnt appear to everyone just because they want to see his face, if he were to do that then there would be no way for us to prove that we are worthy of Heaven. It's supposed to be challenging in a way for us to believe in him. Besides, you underestimate just who you are talking about; this isnt the president, or even the pope who you are asking to see, it's GOD, your lord, creator, and savior. FAITH is, believing because it's already been proven in many ways.

Jesus will not appear to us because He has the fulness of His glory. If you look at the transfiguration, you will notice that the 2 apostles cannot bear to look at Jesus because he was revealing some of His glory, thereby blinding the 2 apostles. It is impossible for humans to physically see the Lord because His glory is too great for humans to experience.
