India must focus on more important things (Population crisis, Poverty, corruptiuon, Lack of basic infrastructure, Sessionist mvmts in manipur, mizoram, Maoist mvt in East/NorthEast etc), rather than starting/sustaining unnecessary wars on other religions. If there are certain religious issues that need to be addressed, then that should be addressed in a civil manner..Certainly NOT by brute force. The '84 riots showcase a perfect (and Sad) example of such hot-headed thinking.
