By the way, my husband is now doing 51% raw and I give him a green smoothie whenever we have the ingredients. He LOVES them. I started with one little leaf and add more each time I make a smoothie. You are right. Bananas and berries really mask that green flavor. A bit of lemon helps too.
How about making up a fun story about the green smoothies? Like calling it a monster smoothie. Encourage the kids to help make up the story with you. They are far more creative than we are. At the end of the story, drink the smoothie. I bet kids will want a "green monster" or an "attack of the slime smoothie". Has anyone tried this method successfully? I remember watching Bunny Berry give her kid "gorilla sandwiches". She made it fun and he loved it. Great video.

Great idea about the blackberries. I found that mulberries do the same thing.
