  • Do you teach Elvish?

  • Wow! That's just wonderful!

I'm voting for compositors star writing music in Quenya. Haha.

  • @IlBardus For sure!

  • omg

  • Great! The pronunciation is perfect, and your voice is great too! You really sound *and* look just like a Ñoldo, so that isn't so bad either. ;) Tervehdykset Ruotsista.

  • @Oscararon Kiitos! It's a great compliment to be compared to a Ñoldo. I'm glad you liked it. Terveisiä Suomesta!

  • Great, man! This is great!!! I hope here in Brazil we could speak as great as you. Keep going

  • ur scary O.o

  • I like it~ and you look like an elf. :))

  • wow, it's really good!

  • @PanikDevachka Thanks!

  • maybe it is a little bit deep for elvish, but you still have a great voice!!

  • great!

  • not bad, but to deep for a elvin song.

  • Yes, I sing it a little bit too deep. :-) It'd be better a little higher.

  • Hyvin laulettu. How much Quenya do you actually speak? By the way, have you considered doing the Oath of Fëanor? I find a tone similar to what I'd imagine of Fëanor himself in your voice.

  • Kiitos. I speak Quenya as much as the best of us, that is I mostly just study it and write poems in it. Quenya isn't really a spoken language. Nope, I don't think I'll be doing the Oath of Fëanor (it's been translated by someone into Quenya, though). Fëanor probably did have a strong voice, so I take that as a compliment. ;-)

  • You have a very beautiful voice!

However I would recommend maybe moving it up just a little higher, you dropped the last syllable of "alasseo".

  • Thank you! Yes, I've noticed that, it should be higher.

  • handsome AND a beautiful voice...

  • Good job man!Your voice and "Quenya" sounds slient and peaceful to me!

I wish if I could learn more about Quenya...But first thing first,I need to hone my english..

    Anyway,Anar caluva tielyanna!

  • I am working on translating the Lyrics of Silent Night into Elvish .

  • very good!

    nagyon jó! ; )

    *****

  • Have you heard the version of Elendil's Oath that Aragorn sings in the movie? I think you should do a cover of that... it would suit your voice VERY well.

  • That's a good idea. I actually love that melody.

  • That was beautiful ^_^

  • Beautiful :)!!!!

  • Great! It's the first time here in Youtube that I hear someone pronunce Quenya correctly. I really liked it!

  • Beautiful melody for a beautiful poem I've never heard before. Where is it from?

You have a very nice voice, and you sound very comfortable speaking Quenya. I salute you! :-)

  • Thank you very much. Both the melody and the words are my own. As a Finn, it is natural for me to pronounce Quenya.

  • Thanks, Wanda! I'll surely add more videos, with fans and friends like you! :-)

  • Petri, you never cease to amaze me! Thank you for this! Not only can you speak Quenya but 'SING'! Have you saved as a favorite! Please do not stop being creative, the best thing to have happened is that web cam and great Elvish to hear, actually HEAR!!! What a great song too...thank you for sharing such wonderful music and I would think Tolkien would be very proud indeed...love this!
