It's been a week since they mating and I saw them today again breeding when will the female lay a egg? The female layed a infertile egg and it just recently broke but they were still siting on the egg as if they were going to hatch. Is that y the female won't lay a egg? I have a nest box
can someone help ... i have a pair of cockatiels that are 1 yr. old they have mated and produced 5 eggs aprox. 4 months ago the mother killed them all. now that they older she has laid eggs twice more and have eaten them each time what can i do? i don't know if she allowed them to hatch or not before they were eaten
my cockatiel babies seem to be growing slower than usual..but the parents feed it and they look very healthy ...is there a way to speed it up or just let them grow naturally? plzz reply
I am Damion from malta so I have I female and one male so I buyed them a box where they breed in when they do eggs they do them In THE box good latly they do a 2 days taking care of them then they dont touch them lett them in the box they do between 3 eggs why Iv been with this problem 1 year pleas can you solve my problem???????????

i give all my cockatiels the same cockatiel mix, i give them bread and millet etc but when she says they must have different feeds, what does that mean??? what else is there but pet store bought cockatiel mix??? :(
@AnimeLoverForever16 their are much more other seeds other han cocktaiel mix so search for diffrent types of seeds they might like and u might want to look for healthy treats like millet sprays
wat will happen if u touch the baby bird if the parents arent tame???
n wat sort of variety, any time igo loking for cockatiel food, i always get the same wierd bag of seds, its amixture, but, is the something im suppose to gte???
@AnimeLoverForever16 u shud also get vitamans and calcuim for yuor momy bird.... and if u touch the baby bird the momy is prob gonna bite but just gently hold it
I have tame and non tame parents. I interact with them everyday and they live in an aviary. I count eggs and handle newborns carefully. I never have any problems with the parents rejecting the babies and or eggs.
I have 3 cockatiel 2 male 1 female they have not mated what could I do to get them to mate thks

i have a baby cockatiel that seems to be developing with a deform leg. it is stretching to one side.is there anything i can do to fix it ?

i would wait another 8 months. cockatiels should be 18 months to be able to start breeding. thats the youngest they should start breeding.
