Yes they did; the '82 and '83 LU5 (CrossFire) came in F-bodies (Camaros and Firebirds.) There were only fourty 1983 Corvettes made, of which 39 were used in crash testing and demolished. The only existing one is at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. (It has different wheels and an analog dash.)
