LOL, I actually enjoyed this game's story MORE than Cars. xD

(Mind you, this isn't saying a lot, as Cars sucks. But it's laughably embarrassing that a kart-racing video game, that barely focusses on story AT ALL, has a better story than a full-length film.)

ModNation Racers is one of those games that has barely any story at all (as it isn't supposed to), but the story that IS included is mildly entertaining.

Hey guys,

I just bought this game. After it finishes updating the software and game data, a loading screen appears with a logo & rotating wheel, and it NEVER ends. I waited a half-hour, and nothing happened. Every time I tried to reboot the game, it takes me back to that loading screen. I tried downloading the latest console system update, and it STILL won't work.

Has anybody else had this problem?

I would REALLY like help. I feel ripped off. I paid for a game, and I cannot even play it.

@gamingrocks100 Never mind, I just figured it out.

If you get an endless loading screen w/ a logo when you start the game, you must:

1) Delete Game Data (DON'T delete Save Data or User Created Content files)

2) Change the PS3's clock to "Sync via Internet"

3) Start up the game, and install all patches & updates as instructed.

Wait, chaosmonkey, is that comparison I hear? The game is good and fun, it is completly original, the controls couldn't be better, it has much more creative weapons, you can make your own track, the online is close to flawless, almost no glitches and the loading has been updated. I own the game your comparing, and I much prefer Modnation. Your just a sega fanboy.

It is true it'll be compared, but it is also true that they really ARE pretty much just comparing it because of their attachment to the others, that was a good point you made.
