Dear and Frank trusted me and let me do whatever I wanted with this bit. I was asked to be on every Dean Martin special, and I did every other "roast" - declining the chance to be on all of them because I wanted to keep a little bit of the element of surprise for the audience. I didn't want to be "expected" to be on the show. I loved working with both of them, and counted them among my real friends as long as they lived. I am glad I had the chance to work with those wonderful people.

You can not imagine how much fun I had doing this show, and all the other shows with Dean and Frank. The amazing thing about this comedic sketch is that Dean and Frank are seen here performing without a rehearsal, using que cards. I was the only one who rehearsed! And it was done in front of a very appreciative live audience. Dean and Frank will be loved and cherished forever.

@RuthBuzzi1 When I was a kid my mom would let me stay up and watch the Dean Martin Roasts when they were on. I didn't understand all the humour, but I knew when my mom laughed, it must have been funny. I remember your character most of all.....the reaction from all the Roastees when you came on made me laugh the most.
