So i am thinking about getting veneers myself, as I am am truly unhappy about my teeth. :( I am very consious about my top teeth and have always wanted to get something done. I then came across veneers, which are perfect, but what i would like to know is the rough amount of cost it will be to get 5-6 teeth done?

I knocked my tooth a little loose this weekend by accident. Will it tighten up or is it doomed to fall out soon? Anybody know? I'm 36.

@cabo02 Dude, go to the dentist right away, asaFp. He/she will probably put some kind of brace on it. Without it you will wiggle the loose tooth with your tongue, and continuously move it by eating, and it will most likely eventually fall out without support. I am not an dentist but I've been researching this very issue a lot recently, and just got back from talking with my dentist about something related. Make an appointment NOW.

@cabo02 Go asap. It is almost impossible to stop fiddling with a loose tooth, which makes it worse, and it's impossible to avoid eating, which will move the tooth around, so you gotta get to the dentist. Try not to move the tooth, but that is nearly impossible. good luck.

I'm just wondering; why don't people ever get veneers on the bottom? I'v ran into a LOT of people who have these stunning teeth on the top and when you catch a glimpse of the bottom, it looks as if they have been chewing on rocks.

i'll tell you i got 8 on top and 2 on bottom (porcelain veneers) and all together cleaning bleaching bla bla blaaaa 16k but to me it is priceless! u might see me in magazine if ur in PA and look into dental magazine lol

@OoOCocoButterOoO Yeah they are fake it Depends i know they have this new system call luminarias where there are these bone like plates they put over your teeth. vs Veneers they have to drill small grooves into your teeth to put the plates in!

@jadeejade veneers are to teeth like acrylic nails are to fingernails. They are usually made of porcelaina and yes the do need to polish down the front side of the tooth when they do them. Lumineers are to teeth like press on nails are to fingernails. The teeth are not polished down and they are less expensive than reg porcelain veneers but most of the time the teeth look sort of bulky and buck.

haaaa u must be stuck in 90s or might be 80s (Lumineers) i dont know!.... i have 10 in my mouth(Porcelain Veneers) and no person can tell that they are not my teeth (which they are to some point) all i get is... HEY nice teeth!

@im 25, I agree. With new technology it should be made more affordable.

If dentist develop a process to do the work on an In and Out bases, they would become REAL RICH, REAL FAST, and be more loved as Doctors. Most people LOVE TO SMILE. But feel they can't because of their teeth. DENTIST NEED TO GET IT. You only get 1 set of adult teeth from age 6 till death, and people go through MANY LIFE CHANGES in that time. Everyone can't CONTINUALY care for their teeth due to the ups and downs of life.
