they can't see what he does because by the time he gets the ball he already knows where he's going to pass it. He's known for his passing but as we saw in the QPR game he can make runs and score as well. If someone is in a better position to score than him he will pass it 100% of the time. That's why he only averages 2-5 goals a season.
@bjarni7 true i used to give him so much shit, but now ive seen in the past few games, what an important player he is, probably out best player this season
@bjarni7 He's shit, his £18 miullion transfer was almost as bad as us signing Torres for £50 million. Atleast we knew Torres was good once Carrfck has always been shit. Tottenham fans i know were happy they sold him for that much bas they also got in a better player to replace him in Zakora.
@cfcsteve86 Many say he was a bad signing but if you look at the facts since he came we have done so well.
We have won 4 out 5 premier league titles and made it to three Champions league finals. He has played a HUGE part in that and dont forget he was the best player against Chelsea last season in the Quarter Finals in the Champions League.
thats the last goal hes scored from over 2 years ago and it was also against wigan mate ! where is these assists also ? the man is shite .. not even good enough for championship never mind premiership
You do realise a defensive-midfielder is not in the team to score or assist? The clue is in the name of the position!
Take Rooney's goal v Chelsea in the CL, Giggs made the assist, Carrick played a DELICIOUS pass to him. The fact he didn't have a mention as the assister is irrelevant, he was involved directly in the goal and assisted the assister. And many times that's the KEY PASS in the goal.
@Ronaldo147Heaven no this is from May 2009, the last goal prior to QPR in all comps was against Man City League Cup Semi Jan 2010, and his last league goal prior to QPR was against Wigan on 30 Dec 2009.
what a crucial goal this was

This trumps the roma goal because it was an 86th minute winner.

Maybe you should look up Carrick v Roma, way better goal.

I love Man United but Carrick is such a weak spot
