i used to think lismore was a hole when i was growing up, but as i got older and travelled more i learned to appreciate it and its surrounding areas. it has its downs for sure but the entire region is beautiful. we are very lucky to have rainforest and beach all within reach. no matter where you go in the world you will find all sorts of ppl so open your eyes to the wonderful things not just the bad. i think this song is clever!

I used to live around the Northern Rivers for much of my life, but now that I've finished year 12 last year I've had to move to Newcastle for uni; the only place that offered me a course. Newcastle's not as nice as Lismore; Newcastle people are hostile and overly concerned with themselves I've noticed, Lismore is tolerant and liberal a lot of the time I've noticed. I really want to move back up there someday...
