I loved and always will love FCPF. He oversaw a fairytale period in UT history. He belongs in the College Football HOF. The new staff has super star potential though, and all in all, Mike Hamilton has to be the best AD in the country right now, other than maybe FL's AD that is (I mean come on, 2 Football NC's and 2 Basketball NC's in last 5 yrs). Obviously, in the last few years, things have slipped away from him and it was probably time for a change at UT. Johnny Majors was a good coach-he just couldnt beat bama enough. Vol fans have forgotten how much they suffered at the hands of bama until Fulmer made it his priority to beat bama. He tied one, lost one, won seven in a row, lost one, won two, lost one, won one, lost two. His hatred of and success against bama was his strength until vol fans forgot the misery of losing to bama. Great video! Tennessee is my sleeper team for 2007-the team that not many people are expecting to contend for the National Title that I think could:

1. The Vols have a solid team and an experienced quarterback.

2. Not many people are expecting the Vols to contend.

3. The players also will be motivated to give Fulmer a good season. His seat has some heat.

Fulmer has a fine football mind. What has come back to haunt him in the past, most recently against Florida in 2006, is him getting too conservative when he has a lead down the stretch and not having his team go at full-pace. In other words, he has been known to play not-to-lose instead of to WIN.
