Sherbert I'm using CS5 like you but when I fit to screen my transparent squares are much smaller and I can't seem to get the ruler to to work vertically, only horizontal. It also doesn't find the center all by itself.

if you remove the black background, and then define pattern, you'll only have the lines when you paste it

well... when i clicked fit to screen it wasn't big like yours there was loads of smaller squares? then the ruler tool will not find the center, i mean it wont highlight in blue??

@oLeGenDZz If the ruler wont find center then you need to turn on "snap" :)

i think its in the same menu as the ruler but yeah just turn that on and it should work :)

@oLeGenDZz Click on the view tab at the top, and then click snap. That should fix the issue with the ruler tool not finding the center. I had the same problem and that fixed it for me.

open photoshop get your picture you want then go to the view you have alot of choics then but you go to

the option cald show there you wil find a thing cald grid click it now you have a grid probably not the grid spaced out as you want it so go the edit then preferense then guides grid slices you get a choice wat collor en other crap for me mebay not to you but go to how far the should be spaced apart select that your done in 10 sec not a min or 2

Interesting that your having those problems with Camtasia, the only keyboard shortcut that doesnt work for me is ctrl-shift-D (for reselect), and thats because it turns on effects in Camtasia. To get rid of the cursor in my speed arts I just save it as avi, in tutorials I keep it camrec. Maybe you need an updated version?

Heyy SHerb, I saw you selected the zoom tool and manually right-clicked then left clicked Zoom Out every time. Did you know that there's a short-cut? Hold "Alt" and then use the scroll ball on your mouse. :) Hope that helped.

hey sherb, theres a way to center anything perfectly using the move tool :) just draw a line down the canvas, select all, get the move tool, and theres 6 buttons on the top, just click the ones that look like theyre meant for centerring, if that makes any sense xD

@BENBOBBY2 afraid not, you can decrease the size of the text box so it comes very close to being just around it, then resize it, not a huge difference
