Minyahil Tilahun was left Ethiopia around 1988 to the u.s.a and he sent one album to Ethiopia from the united states of America. I'm sure he is still alive somewhere in the U. S. However, I don't think he was get along with his father the legendary Tilahun Gessese.

Is Minyahil still alive? I heard he died about 20 years ago. From this interview and from what I heard in the past that his dad abandoned him and his mom to a younger Muslim lady. I don't know how much of it is true, but I don't think Tilahun had a direct influence on his son.
