  • Believe it or not, it is the Dominican Republic. My team put on the event at the extreme hotels with, Slightly Stoopid, Tony Alva, Andy Kessler, Red Bull wake team, Maxim Magazine, Chuck Patterson, Felix Pivec, Jason Slezak and a bunch more cool pros. The Ring Media and eXtreme Hotels made this happen. Thank you for everyone's support. For the record, Tony Alva is a class act. Much respect for his skating ability but more importantly that he is a down ass homey. The guy is legit as they come.

  • Jay Adams+Tony Alva are my favorites, ever. Stacy was a good clean skater, but he was too much of a goody two shoes for my taste.

Anyone that disrespects any of the Z-Boys can get bent, though.

  • la pura old schol

  • can i borrow a dollar?

  • wow

  • hahahaha 1:13

  • This was one of the best events ever in kiteboarding history. 7 days in the Dominican Republic sponsored by eXtreme Hotels...with Slightly Stoopid, Tony Alva, Maxim Magazine, The Red Bull wakeboarding,, Pivec, Hat, Slezak, Gnecco, Real Kiteboarding, Marina Chang, James Brown, Susi Mai, Davey Blair, Camryn Dietrich, Gabe Brown and all of the cool ass Dominican peeps..I know I am missing a lot of people...oh yea...gotta thank Neil Hutchinson and the man with the master plan Bill Lee.

  • Can't wait for Stoopids tour this summer, definitely gonna head down to Irvine and see you boys with Cypress Hill

  • ohh i love tony I love him he so cool I thinking on order a Alva re issue board anyone who has one who can tell me if they are nice to ride?:P

  • @danieljordison0793 I am 48 and rode that board in 77' when it first came out- I would go with a concave old school board for serious vert skating. Maybe as a fun board........

  • Tony will be 100 years old and still be terring t up!

  • @lonehashashin time him to grow up.. He'll be riding pools in a wheel chair

  • yay my country i didnt know ther were ramps there were on the island was this? maybe the capital Santo Domingo?

  • At Kite Beach in Cabarete

  • No alan gelfand invented the ollie in pools and rodney mullen was the first one who did it on flat

  • tony alva!!!!

  • alva invented ollie :O.o

  • no he didn't rodney mullens did

  • wtf, zephyr team did ollie before rodney mullen was born, they invented skateboarding as it is today

  • Actually, Allan "Ollie" Gelfand invented the ollie in a bowl. Before that they would just early grab out of ramps to catch air. Mullen was supposedly the first to do flatground ollies.

  • cooooooolio

  • dude with out him skating would be nothing.

  • alva-style....great. I love Slightly Stoopid!

  • intense

  • i been there skating with tony alva i was representing d.r in that event........was the most cool thing i ever been in my all life..........

  • shuuure

  • oh yes...style and fluidity are what counts. any kid in a park can do fliptricks, but they look rigid and robotic, like the video game they copied the trick from. U gotta have surf style...TA is the man.

  • Style is everything. I've had a few people watch this video and say, "Dude, TA's getting old...I can do that" ...not in a million years pal...nobody does it with as much style and the skating in this video is in between surf/kite/drinking sessions. He's still the man!

  • dude your damn right

  • TA -- you still look cool. Style is all.
