The ones that are created by Crypton are way better, because they created the first Vocaloids(MEIKO and KAITO), so they have better technology. Actually, Kaito and Meiko, weren't the first Vocaloids, Lola and Leon (March 2004) are. Meiko was released November of 2004 and Kaito in 2006. Miriam was released between Leon/Lola and Meiko.

The first 3 vocaloids weren't released by Crypton.

hrmm this is really just more evidence to support my growing opinion that stuff that's made for one vocaloid, shouldn't just be voiced over with another. Luka and Miki sound better than this. This songs better by Luka, and Miki sings much better than this on other songs. And further the thing that it seems miki isn't equipped with english...or at least it doesn't sound like it.

don't forget just like human singers Vocaloid's voices are run through filters, harmonized and altered to perfection by the respective creators of each song. So it's not that they aren't suited just people can't mimic all the work that goes into the original song. Parts of the voice are left "raw". That being said No one will ever sing Double Lariat better than Luka.

Aye, Luka rules the Lariat. And im well aware of all that you said (at least in the sense that using the program is complex in the extreme if you want to actually be GOOD at it, i watched a tutorial once, made my eyeballs swim in my head) but i meant to point out that the Vocaloids are generally given a Genre they're directed at, and they (usually) perform the best singing in it.
