This is dope man, I have axiom 25 too but dont see too many hip hop heads using it. I picked it up hoping not realizing most people use if for techno/trance stuff. I need to get a better program though, I only have Live Lite still and I think its holding me back some. Any recommendations? I run a Mac with OSX.

I use the Axiom 61 and it wokr's for any type of grene of music. If you want to get a program that is good then you should get reason. Or you can get FL studio thats where I started way back when.

Thanks for hittin me back, I grabbed a copy of reason the other day... Air Force has me workin nights right now so I havent even installed it yet. Guess Ima do it now. A dude at work is selling his MPD 32 for a 150 bucks. I think ima snatch it up too for the hell of it.

No i don´t think so!I´m using pro tools too,but you must have a M-audio Soundcard!I´ve got the Audiophile 2496.I think there are also some other cards,which work with pro tools.

Yea you can. If you have Reason, FL Studio, Live or what ever you use as a sound engine then just use the rewire function on Pro Tools. I have a video posted on how to set that up on my page. Or you can get a Midi cable and conect it to the audio interface. If your interface does not have a MIDI in and out then get a MIDI to USB addapter. You can get them on Ebay. If you have any questions just ask me

i have a latency problem running the reason with the axiom 25 while playing live with drums and guitars, could u please tell me how to reduce latency to almost zero if possible?

get a good soundcard should help!

Go to edit, preferences & @ the top click the arrow for the drop down menu. Select "Audio" and you'll see output latency. Just play around with that until you get the results you're looking for...Just in case you still need help with that.

i have a axiom 25 and i downloaded reason.

but i dont no how to save the beat.like ill do a snare layer but i dont no how to save it ( record it) so i can add another layer like a bass layer.you see what im saying.get back at me when you have time

You have to record it in your sequencer under the rack.Press the record button and play the notes like the snare or kick or hat or what u want to record.you can also do the layer in the redrum computer with the 16 buttons and then with right click press:add to sequencer!!!
