Man, that opening to the show seems almost like it was unrehearsed and done right on the spot! That really adds more to the Disney magic. In fact, this whole show proves that Disney CAN get the classic-style magic right when they set it in the right direction (compared to the High School Musical, Jonas Brothers and Princess stuff!)

I LOVE this Mickey Mouse! Mickey has been my favorite cartoon character for as long as I can remember, so to see him "live", talking with a moving mouth and blinking eyes, is incredible!! I wish they would continue to use this Mickey Mouse in the Park. That would really make my day when I visit DL later this year!

Back in May, they tested Mickey talking at his house in Toontown. There are some youtube videos of it. He could actually speak live and refer to guests by name. Currently though, Mickey is back to being silent while greeting people in the parks.

I love the retro opening in the roller coaster loop. When we saw the show, they didnt do that! They should implement that in the nightly show.. When I was a little kid we were on a visit to Disneyland they happened to be having an animation conference at the Disneyland hotel. One evening going to our room I was in the elevator w/ the voice of Donald Duck and he said my name in Donald's voice. I love hearing and seeing the old cartoons w/ the original voices.. such happy memories.
