Thanks! I always loved that song, and was piddling in Open C one day when I realized that I was unconsciously trying to play that. Now if I could just learn the words in the beginning, so that I stop breaking into "In the Jungle" when I try it ...

You can find the words online. The graceland album was released when I was 3 years old. So I remembered the lyrics phoneticly (?), the english ones too, since I'm from Holland and didn't speak English at the time. I think that is the only way to learn the intro. Just listen to it a lot and try to sound like them.

Open C, capo 4. I like open C 'cause you can barre the 3 (or 6) heaviest strings with a middle finger and then reach melody notes up top.
