I still like Tarja, but given what she sounds like these days, I'm happy with Anette and Marco replacing her. It's all about the band as a whole to me. Of course, had she still sounded like this I would have felt a greater loss after she left. But already on Century Child she started to sound more light and airy.

Tarja used to sing classical mezzo-soprano back when she started, and that was perfect for her voice, imo. She sounded rich and beautiful. Now, she's a full coloratura-soprano. It just doesn't really suit her.

Be it just me, or does this song sound very... Metroid Prime 3-ish? It sounds, if my memory serves me correctly, very similar. At least, the opening does.
@DraconicLink Yup, it's pretty similar to the Metroid Prime 3 music... And a little bit to some Zelda songs too (Zora's Domain from Twilight Princess???).
I was surprised at first at how 'popish' the drum beat sounded at first, but I actually really like this song now. got wishmaster for christmas and this was a bonus track. i think her voice sounds more natural on this version than the heavy one. but thats just my opinion--dont get mad at me
The reason this is more 'popish', is the fact that this was made for the Eurovision song contest... and won the Finnish qualifier by 80% something, but in the end was ruled to be too heavy for Eurovision
