hey saito, i have a couple questions if u can help. im new to rc and i got me a axe 400, will this body fit mine? and another question is what did u do with the servo that sits on the boom? or will it fit? and last what upgrades should i do in order for huges to fit nicely in my 400?.and last question where did u get this from? sorry for all the questions im just new and have no idea about helicopters..all i know i have futabu servo's, 2250 lipo, and ordered fiber glass blades. thanks ))

Yes it should fit you may have to trim the tail some and make a base to mount in the body. The tail servo can stay where it is OK will fit. Thanks for watching Saitoking

@saitoking thanks!!!! i was worried the servo from the tail will not fit.. i just ordered mine from hong-kong got it for $89 its the silver,black, red model with lights. i should be getting mine in 3 days ))) cant wait. i will post it on u tube once i get it.. i know there are others who would like to know this same info.. thanks again. and great job on the model..

@saitoking what's the size difference from the 450 and the 400 size? are they practically the same? cuz i saw this really cool 3 blade rotor head thats for the 450 but if it fits on the 400 than i will buy it.

Nice build! I'm in the process of doing virtually the same thing. Did you find that you needed to add lead in the front to get it all to balance again? Thanks!

Since I used lights and a BEC I put the flight battery and light battery in the front to help balance because as you already know the HA fus. in tail heavy. Thanks for watching. Charles

If you watched the whole video you would see that the original music was Van Halen Youtube took my music off and made me choose from their music. So keep your comments to yourself lamo or I will block you from writing on my videos

@saitoking Dude, block away with my blessing - my point was that you have so much more that you could contribute rather than a lame metal track, irrespective of whether it was Van Halen (amazing band - it sucks that Youtube act as music nazis) or any other band. Give more info, it would make your clips even better.

I did paint a set of rotors but it was hard to balance them, because of the paint weight had to add a lot of balance tape. Maybe try again.Thanks for watching. Charles

SNAP! I have a MD500 army fuselage with a T-Rex 450S! It will be completed this week. There will be a vid up soon. Did you make the missile launchers yourself? Bloody brilliant mate! 5 stars.

Yes, the missile launchers were made with straws , card stock, I formed balsa wood by soaking it in hot water bending it around a round a marker with rubber bands till it dried. The arms are a skid, molded in with filler and then sanded, last dipped in Plastic Dip. Thanks for the nice comments Charles
