I wish doctors and nurses would make it clear to patients that they have a CHOICE. I had a horrendous experience when I had my first child. I know women who were traumatised by being given injections in personal areas when they could have had a choice of a different site. Health care professionals seem to think it isn't a big deal because it's "over in a minute". Hope this is helpful to you students - be sensitive! Thanks :)
