  • All you have to remember is the Doctor NEVER WOULD!!! If Earth can remember that simple philosophy then all our problems could be solved.

  • it would be so nice to see the time lords come back in the new series.

  • This will be played out again on 50th anniversary the 11th doctor is there?

  • I used to be a Doctor like him, but then I took a Dalek to the knee

  • @hikertroll If one Dalek stopped you, you were nothing like him. D:

  • @hikertroll my kids are always saying stuff like this, dissolving into laughter, then not telling me why... PLEASE tell me what the hell it means!!!

  • @lozman67 Elder Scrolls V - Skryim joke.

Because the guards sometimes say : I used to be an adventurer like you, then i took an arrow to the knee.

  • @ElendilAndAragorn Many thanks.. all this time I thought they were revising for exams!..I now go forth into battle against my teenagers with some armour..

  • It's funny, the Doctor was feeling pretty guilty about being alive when all his other people were supernova food:

''They all died. All of them.''

''No. If any others had survived, I'd have felt it.''

''They burned, the Time Lords, all of them, they burned!''

    Even the Krillitine Chief:

''Your own people, Doctor. The TimeLords, standing tall.''

And then they come back in this episode, fully armed, evil and psychotic, and the Doctor's like ''I spent all that time moping for nothing then.''

  • @avernikas

Because slavery has worked so well in the past

  • 1.) Open a new window

2.) Search for the Sixth Doctor's speech during his trial in "The Ultimate Foe"

3.) Play the speech and this music at the same time.

    4.) Enjoy.

  • KNEEL BEFORE RASSILON.

  • you are the best

  • Disliked by the 11 incarnations of the Doctor and several companions.

  • is that Tiff needall

  • ok a few things in the old seires of doctor who did the time lords were already at war with the darlek?? and in end of time who is that woman who is giving that old man the messages??

  • I was a huge Star Wars fan. After watching shows random new shows on AXN Sci-Fi all day, I can confidently say I'm a fan of D. Who beyond space and time. Who needs the Force when you've got The Doctor?

  • @AndyRaslan I think mr Lucas got it worng, the force is The Doctor.

  • after 0.20 move along nothing to see here

  • A FUCKING SLIDE SHOW. THEY WENT OUT WITH THE AMIGA, FOR FUCKS SAKE.

  • @AkxxFiEnD have you forgotten, the same universe that Birthed Us, birthed them, and if we're the model, then you'd better hope to your Creator who farted us into existence as a non-thought, that we're the ones who find this docile intelligent life of yours first, because if they become aware of us before we've had time to prepare, then I hope you're partial to the idea of being raped daily by tentacled aliens. But seriously, it's only a matter of time before or universal kin seeks our demise.

  • I'm black and undoubtedly a great many people hate me for being this, and a great many more would prefer I remain in my little corner of Nassau Bahamas silent like a proper less than, but not only will I not stay silent, but I'm tempted to come into your corner of where ever and fuck with you for fun. And to a degree, we're all like that, and in time, when we're advanced enough, we'll be finding faults with everything that isn't human, much like KKK bitches can't stand me, and I wanna kill em.

  • no other pictures??????

  • No classic Time Lords? Just for a bit?

  • Timelords return, under the leadership of Lord Rassilon, self proclaimed Spitlord!

  • "On your knees Mankind! PREPARE YOUR ANUS!!!" - Lord Dalton, the Spitlord. That ladies and gentlemen is the True Horror of the Time War

  • who were the other time lord part from rassilon?

  • I TOLD YOU JAMES BOND WAS A TIME LORD

  • Comment removed

  • Rassilon had a point; how far would any of us go to avoid oblivion. If the destruction of the universe has to happen to preserve myself and humanity, don't for a moment believe i'd give two shiites about the universe. Who cares about trillions of species, I only care about me and mine. The doctor's an idiot. he sacrificed his people for strangers.

  • @avernikas That's not the way he thinks, he views all lifeforms as equal, and, if you watch the classics, he never really fit in on his home world, in one episode he even says that he's not sure whether he still considers himself a Time Lord (I think it was "Pyramids of Mars". ) Earth is probably much more of a homeworld to him than Gallifrey ever was...

  • @KendrixTermina every species has a blacksheep, and unfortunately, Gallifrey's black sheep, though awesome by our standards, was Gallifrey's greatest enemy. From what we've seen, the Doctor may have still used the Moment to destroy all that was present including the Time Lords, even if they hadn't tried to ascened, because of all the bad, hardcore, incredibly dangerous elements involved. The Never wheres, and the would be king, the nightmare child, the daleks, just to name a few.

  • @avernikas "On your knees (insert species name here)kind" The Earth version of Rassilon

  • @legendary7708 Give us a billion years, we'd be just as awesome as Rassilon, with billions of species as our slaves---it'd be glorious.

  • @avernikas the stars will die at our whim-our empire will control the fate of all.

  • @angrydead Our power is also our greatest boon; We're like the stars; hot with ambition, hot with intensity, and hot enough to self destruct. For us to survive, we have to achieve the right balance of self destruction, and self progression. And that balance sits gingerly on a knifes edge. Our only recourse is a perfect being, not burdened by the need to self destruct, but is instead bound by our three laws to not only self replicate, but to evolve quicker than us. We build an AI, we rule stars

  • @avernikas That's true, but this "genetic zenith" that has been discussed in past comments may be achieved, but you have to think of it in an analogy for computer security software. When something new comes out and is installed, it is solid and its fortifications are great and can withstand a great deal; however there will always be someone, or a small group of people, who will try to develop a means of breaching the defenses and getting past the layers of security. Nature may well do the same.

  • @georgercop We'll have to change the way we do business with our programs. Instead of having one massive program in one box, we'll have to have parts of that program in many boxes, with each box with their secondary and slave boxes in case of a fault. And for us to enter crucial information to change routines of the AI, instead of entering from one console. One would have to physically enter the codes, with each box having their own hex key code, that randomly generates several times a day.

  • @avernikas And we fuse with said AI instead of letting it completely replace us, right? Direct democracy with an AI for check and balances...

  • @Elround4 I remember reading that molecular sized blocks, when exposed to human cells, inadvertently destroyed the nucleus of the human cell, how this happened baffled scientist of the study. I'd prefer giving our programs an incentive of some kind. Or perhaps, creating other programs to watch the AI programs, like how Internal Affairs keeps an eye on cops. Who better to control the AI, than another AI whose sole purpose is to look for flaws in the AI we're working with.

  • @avernikas ...and probably as corrupt, as morally bankrupt, and as self-centered and absolutely arrogant as him and his fellow Time Lords; remember what the Doctor said...that the Time Lords bringing back Gallifrey from the Time Lock not only returned Rassilon and his cronies, but a whole SHITLOAD of unspeakable horrors that the Time Lords created to fight back against the Daleks (not to mention a veritable assload of leftover Daleks by themselves).

  • @DorianMichaelsIII I think that what the Doctor truly feared, not necessarily the horrors that fought them, but as you said, THE HORRORS THEY CREATED TO FIGHT BACK. Imagine Unit 731 where the Japanese experimented on tens of Thousands of Chinese, Korians, and other asians, and also hundreds of allied soldiers; Russians, Americans, and British. Killing them all in the gruesomest of ways; experimenting on them with biological, and chemical agents, Now imagine Time Lords having done this.

  • @avernikas People like you scare me, you think that you can achieve more by enslaving and making races hate us rather then living together.

  • @AKxxFiEnD Last I checked this is a harsh universe; nothing out there wants us to survive. Who cares if we're made from it; that's just salad dressing. We're products of our Creator, and like our Creator, we're looking for ways to destroy whomever is weak enough to die; if we happen upon weaker races, we'll enslave them, rape them to death, or kill them for fun, if we happen upon those stronger than us, run like hell until we're evolved enough to do the same to them.

  • @avernikas Last I checked we didn't have the technology to travel out of our solar system. So I don't see how your argument makes sense, if we do encounter a species more powerful then us when we have space faring technology, who's to say they'll want to kill us?

  • @AKxxFiEnD We're progressing nicely, haven't you noticed? We've sent probes and robots in space to do our dirty work, and there is no reason to suspect this trend will change. In actuality, I foresee this trend becoming a rule of thumb; humanity creating complex automatons and sending them into deep space to enact our will on all out there. And in time, we'll have probes that are space mines, that will explode with our intent; imprinting our memories on any biological material it finds.

  • @avernikas Once again I say, you people scare me.

  • @AKxxFiEnD no worries though, we're far more likely to wipe ourselves out long before then. but if not; bend over ET cause a probin izza cummin.

  • @avernikas True dat.

  • @AKxxFiEnD My approach would be us breaking all boundaries of what physically defines us (treating ourselves like software and constantly cut/pasting into new forms) and attempt to master stealth, deception, and hide in the shadows--if we ever get that that far. XD

  • @avernikas A billion years ago multicellular life was brand new and sparkling, Humanity Genus (which I will not name due to it's unfortunate name) has only existed in the last 2.6 million years. In a billion years humanity will just be part of the fossil record. And anyway hopefully the singularity will hopefully happen within the next 50 years so we could match the time lords in possibly a hundred years. (P.S Also, Slavery is wrong.)

  • @avernikas

    @legendary7708

I for one, welcome ourselves as the new galactic overlords. Hopefully we will have achieved something akin to resleeving in the Eclipse Phase universe and another instance of myself will be like standing as a body guard (with a body that is 40% genetically enhanced/modified cells, 40% nanomachines, and 20% 'normal' technology) for our Trans/post-human version of Rassilon. XD

  • @Elround4 We're so self destructive because we see ourselves as lesser beings. If we were to see ourselves as more than the sum of our parts, we'd be as great as the Olympians of old, or even as self preserving as the Ori was. I'd say Time Lords, but the only example of them is the Doctor, and what a poor example he is; any species powerful to transcend time and space, would consider themselves gods, and that's why perhaps, Rassilon is the greatest time lord I've ever seen.

  • @avernikas You still can't ignore our--current--physical limitations. The thing I love most about our species is the desire to shape the environment and our bodies to suit our needs. ^_^ I don't wollow in self pity because of my poor vision, I patch it with technology (in this case prescription glasses) and look in awe toward the possibility of expanding it into other spectrum's and greater clarity.

  • @Elround4 Will the evolution of us as a species be adaptive, or intrusive? As you said, 'we shape our environments to suit our needs', and I agree. But it would appear, our future won't be one of us slowly building over generations to a genetic plateau of perfection, but learning to change our surroundings to support us in our weaknesses. Already they've genetically changed goats to produce spider silk that could be grafted to human skin making us bullet proof; already we're changing our flesh.

  • @legendary7708 How would a Dalek get on his knees? Lol.

  • @ricogoldstar A Dalek is just an alien inside a robot shell.

  • @kingkrios I know. but.....the robotic shell has no legs, and The Dalek Alien inside is a squid like creature and has no knees with which to kneel. Think about it.

  • @legendary7708

I have a feeling that person would be none other than the God-Emperor of Mankind.

  • @legendary7708 Bees? BEEEEEESSSSS

  • @avernikas It's people like you that don't understand life. I would give my life for anyone and be glad of it. Even you. What is wrong with you that you don't get that if the universe of DW really existed, if you allowed the universe to be destroyed, you would have no place to Be that which you aspire to Be? Taking care of other people is fulfilling4thesoul. I feel sorry for you. Hugs and love. and by the way, I'm pro-choice, just in case somebody makes an inappropriate pro-life troll statement.

  • @AuglereDeRosenkinde Life is all there is, or should I say, MY LIFE is all there is. And in extension, humanity's life is all there is. If you, for a moment realized that protecting you and yours is paramount, then, you would throw the cosmos and all there in away, a billion times, to preserve yourself, and your species. Anyone who would allow themselves or humanity to cease forever, to protect stars and empty space, and aliens who isn't human, is a traitor unworthy of being human.

  • @avernikas Okay sweetheart. Whatever you say.

  • @avernikas Pray we never become anything like the Time Lords--a species so advanced that they've forgotten how half of their technology works, so wise that they cannot be made to act until it is too late, and so powerful that two OUTCASTS of their species can destroy them all. It is my hope that we will become ancestors or teachers for a better sort of being. That is, if we do not turn into a better sort of being, ourselves.

  • @lonanarcheya that's what makes us brilliant; we're forgetful, slothful and not to mention impetuous; always regretting things far too late. I'd like to think we would become more manipulative of a species, and take more risk with others, as opposed of risking our own lives. Preferably machines, or a lesser race of men; programmable, and solely obedient to us; it would be nice if each of them had a portion of our will and intellect, to do as they're told, and never disobey.

  • @avernikas And then they'd gain free will and turn on us. It's like you never watched sci fi

  • Gallifrey falling!
