Donovan is our golden boy and if he doesn't play full time in Europe and decides to retire in MLS, then that's a waste of talent. And this is coming from someone who lives in the South Bay, 10 minutes away from the Home Depot Center, where I've had the privilege of watching Landon grow through LAG and USMNT.

I think Landon is an exceptional player and he has really done a lot to help MLS grow but I think he has what it takes to play in the Premier League. Plus, I agree that he would be an excellent addition to EFC.

im not a troll but when am i gonna see an american playinig in the champions league as a starter. a country with 300 mil people and mexicans a large minority and no one play in the most prestigious club competition. that means there is something wrong with how soccer is organized in the us not hat there are not good talents.

I think Everton was his level. He is a great player but i don't think he would get in front of players like Arshavin and Walcott. The way Everton play suited him to, it's just to bad for him that LA want a ridiculous amount of money for him so we will be wasting away in the MLS (no disrespect to them but it not like Europe) instead of playing top level football

It's time for LD to step it up to the next level.in my opinion. the mls is for beginners and for those who are near retirement. He may have sucked in Germany but that was just not the right place for him. The EPL is his place to be. Return to Everton.

FYI @panchitaforever Landon signed with Bayer Leverkusen at age 18 then decided to come back home. Also loaned to Bayern Munich last season. Will be picked up by either Chelsea or Villareal next season
