i live in a muslim country, and i am a christian

muslim people arent as extreme as we are led to belive, infact they are quite plesent people.

its the media that makes muslim people seem like they are bad people when they arent.

their traditions are different and some of them are barbarick in some countries, but most muslim people arent like the extremists that bombed the twin towers or anything. that is a very small number of people.

@Achk131 Islam is truly a religion of peace. It is in fact forbidden in Islam to create trouble, terrorism or to kill. Those who do this will be punished by God. Some of the 'barbaric' customs are culture endorsed and by no means influenced by Islam or any other religion. The so called Muslims e.g. 9/11 etc... are muslims by name, not actions. In the eyes of a Muslim, they aren't even considered muslim as if they were, they would not have done such things.

Muslims have to give some of their money to charity (2.5%)while Christians didn't. While it usually was not as much, Muslims also protected the Christians, because they didn't serve in the military typically. Christians are doing very well in Muslim countries. In countries such as Syria and the HK of Jordan Christians are overrepresented as politicians and rich people. Can you say that about Muslims in Christian Countries.

Arab Christians have lived in the middle east even before Islam began. They lived for centuries much more peacefully, unlike Protestants and Catholic Christians in England and Germany for most of their history.

Modesty is different from place to place. It is stricter legally and culturally in some places than others. That is a modesty issue. For a long time Christian women did the same when they went to church, because of 1 Corinthians 11:2-16, most nuns still do. Modesty differs in different religions and cultures, even in Muslim countries: Taliban-controlled Afghanistan required by law women to wear full burkas while it is illegal in Turkey and Tunisia to even wear a hijab in public buildings and schools, so STOP STEREOTYPING. Immigrant woman can usually choose what they want to wear.
