Just by using a stopwatch. That is the only way to get accurate elapsed time. Some people use GPS/computers, which can get you to within a second or two, but you need to get much more accurate timing than they can give.
how do you know how many seconds you are ahead? can be just a stop watch. are you using a computer system? my 21yo son wants to enter the 120 class next year.
SSCC was fun, although my car was not able to participate. It is quite an event with lots of features like car shows and dinners prior to the actual racing event. I hope you all had a great time. Nice video.
