@plutik666 ok thank you for the information. I'm very curious about music coz I'm a musician myself and yet i have lack of knowledge about the rarest instruments including this balalaika.
@legacyabq we all are nothings, nobodies, douchebags. that is being human. problem is that people like richie stone try to deny that. i hope that is what you meant.
I can't believe it...I quite think this ist the tune composed by Martin Kiszko that played as an intro to the BBC series "Realms of the Russian Bear".. is that right?? to me it sounds like that ..I'm so glad to find this here.. for years I've been looking for that.. is there a name for that song or is it just a tune without name? this Anatole is playing a wonderfull balalaika!
that was fabulous! Thanks for sharing. We were playing Beatles Rock Band & I noticed they talked about a "Belalaika ringing out" and we wondered what on earth a belalaika was and what it sounds like!
This website is very good for tuning instruments. I don't have a balalaika but they are amazing. I use this website for tuning my ukulele and it works wonders! hope it works for you

The song Anatoly plays first is Hour by Hour, which is a piece closely associated with the balalaika virtuoso Pavel Necheporenko, who died last year, aged 93.

jeremyunderground41 3 months ago
@jeremyunderground41 EEA prima balalaika... sometimes AAD like sekunda balalaika.
but some peole are too lazy to learn playing with the thumb and tune it like a guitar o.O
