Ahh. I remember when I played WoW, most boring game I've ever played. Probably the worst graphics I've ever seen as well I've seen PS1 games look better than WoW graphics. RuneScape wins hands down, It's way better than WoW in so many ways including graphics, music and the community. Quests in RS are just unmatched. It's a beautiful game.

@cody41092 At this point, both games suck now. Rs got boring for me after they started releasing crappy updates around mid 09 and started selling out. And the patch 4.3 raid wasn't as hard as I was expecting and they already nerf it within 2 months of release. Rs got boring for me around 09 and WoW when Wotlk was released, TBC was good times w/ friends.
Rs and WoW are pale compared to the newer games like Swotr and Gw2. But PC games have been boring to lately, I've been playing bf3 :p

I played Runescape for a number a years and i really think is a casual game mostly. I just recently upgraded to World of Warcraft and all i can say is wow.

@theHAHA111 Yea true :/. The endgame sucks in cata. But I do like the new 5 man's they added with 4.3 and the DS raid wasn't too bad. I liked the Spine of Deathwing, Madness of deathwing fights :) and Blizz put the devs that originally worked on WoW (most of them) to work on their new game D: Project Titan or w/e. But the new expansion looks interesting. Hopefully it gives us something more to do then sit around in a city and queue up for stuff.

Honestly, the 2 can't be compared. They're both MMO's but that's where their similarities end. Rs is more for the relaxed and casual gamer, who doesn't like alot of pressure on his back and is just free to do w/e he wants on the game. WoW is more for the hardcore gamer who likes to run around killing everything in sight and can commit a fair amount of time to the game. I prefer WoW more because It's more fast paced. I played Rs for 5 years, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. BUT GW2 > all :D

I've read the last 4 pages of comments, I have played RuneScape for about 4-5 years and WoW for around 3 years.. RS was fun back before bots and then grand exchange when you had to search around to sell your items, instead of just getting cash for it instantly (which makes it boring). Tbh I played wow and didnt like it u buy the cd with code thingy and every month u pay 15 dude breaking my balls and to make it creepy theres like 40+ year old ppl playing wow not to mention the little kids in rs its cheaper but now its filled with scammers and lurer there were bots but jagex got rid of them tbh both games blow dick but theres stuff we like and we dont so tbh Ill just go play cod or skyrim

Runescape is shit and Cataclysm is boring as shit, it was good when TBC and I even liked Wrath a bit, just don't play WoW and hopefully pandaria will be good, Activision Blizzard fucked up WoW with cata, and for runescape that game is beyond shit, it's funny to compare it with WoW when they have no comparisons

@theHAHA111 Yea true :/. The endgame sucks in cata. But I do like the new 5 man's they added with 4.3 and the DS raid wasn't too bad. I liked the Spine of Deathwing, Madness of deathwing fights :) and Blizz put the devs that originally worked on WoW (most of them) to work on their new game D: Project Titan or w/e. But the new expansion looks interesting. Hopefully it gives us something more to do then sit around in a city and queue up for stuff.

Honestly, the 2 can't be compared. They're both MMO's but that's where their similarities end. Rs is more for the relaxed and casual gamer, who doesn't like alot of pressure on his back and is just free to do w/e he wants on the game. WoW is more for the hardcore gamer who likes to run around killing everything in sight and can commit a fair amount of time to the game. I prefer WoW more because It's more fast paced. I played Rs for 5 years, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. BUT GW2 > all :D

Runescape still has bots, just fewer compared to a couple months ago? Saying Runescape's bot problem is fixed would be YOU lying. It still has bots, and still has them spamming GE and other places
Runescape is just a slow-paced game with little content and is full of grinding. Fastest way to level any RS skill? Grinding.

I've read the last 4 pages of comments, I have played RuneScape for about 4-5 years and WoW for around 3 years.. RS was fun back before bots and then grand exchange when you had to search around to sell your items, instead of just getting cash for it instantly (which makes it boring). Bots ruin runescape.. the community is stupid... everyone calls each other names... Jagex dont give a toss about bots.. they just make updates that make you think they do... BOTS CANT BE STOPPED GET OVER IT.
