Vans is using the Evens EC2 series skins. I have a set on my Yamaha kit (coated), & all all have to say is - MONEY WELL SPENT !. Buy a set, you will be blown out. Punchy, Powerfull, minimal overtone, & worth every penny !!. No tape or tuning will get the same result, unless your kit came with good qual skins, like these. Other option, "overtone Rings" which sit on the outter area of each skin. Quarter of the price, & a BIG BIG difference to any kit, but the skins rock, no risk! Happy Drumming.

i think it goes like this(THE FIRST PART) (alternating 16th note triplets) bass snare (1)tom, bass snare (floor) tom

so thats: right foot, right hand, left hand, right foot, right hand, left hand

i use it a fair amount
