Chino has gives you that atmospheric feeling, because he's almost ethereal.

Maynard evokes different emotions...his voice ranges from trembling and almost pathetic like in this song to soooo many other ways...

I guess I made it sort of obvious that I like Maynard more, but that doesn't detract from Chino, who is a great singer as well.

(Though he really shouldn't do this song live. Every time Ive seen it live he cant hit the right notes and ends up shrieking...)

Yes Maynard is better overall and especially in the coventional sence of his great control. He has much less trouble maintaining his voice and his range is fantastic however Maynard like most can't sing everything and be good at it. Unless your the next Mike Patton cause it's rare to find a voice that can fit to that many styles of music. Chino's high wailing shrieks are a great part of his distinction. The only other person I have seen do something that is somewhat simular is Steven Tyler.
