I saw Rafi when I was a boy growing up in Trinidad and he sang this song at the Naparima bowl, and you could hear the silence in the crowd. That silence was on of amazement as a nation embraced Rafi as there own. Up today, you can hear his songs ringing out all over the island and together with Lataji, the nation accepted them as Bhaiya and Bahinji. I still remember when I listened this song first time on Amritsar TV in our hostel's mess. It was an unbelievable experience. The original recorded song was nothing less than a classic. I always thought that nobody in this world would ever be able to repeat the song with the same high standard. No but I was wrong. What Mohammad Rafi was doing live in front of us? All of us present in the hall could not believe our ears. Most of us forgot to breath during this song. He was a gift of God.

Sallam Bro, thank you very much...you did the right thing to disable the ratings.....i've just recently started doing a bit of research on Vocal exercises and how science is helping get best out of singers blah blah....Rafi was light years ahead...scientists, vocal trainers should study Rafi sahabs vocals...I have watched U'r double vid over and over....i dont know how the musicians are able to play their instruments i know i certainly would'nt be able to...i want to study a degree in Rafiology
