@TLJAWSIMIB I mean that the render shown here shows the reflecting pools' base as a tranquil blue color, reflecting the trees and buildings, but in reality, they are dull and black, nothing like the renders shown here (but hey, thats just my opinion)

@TLJAWSIMIB . I like the overall iconic simplicity of the old Towers, the way they could be recognizable from miles away. I liked how they represented how peace and trade can co-exist. However, they looked kind of gaudy, especially in the 1970's, before the WFC was constructed, they just looked like out of scale behemoths. Architecturally, the new towers are superior, but they just don't look New York (although, the same could be said about the old towers when they were being built.

@TLJAWSIMIB Old ones were better...for many reasons. The new ones seem to take attention away from each other. The only one I personally like is the Freedom Tower; mainly because it has the appearance of the North Tower (I think the vents correspond to the area where Flight 11 hit the latter)...

@TLJAWSIMIB They're...well, not exactly pretty. Tower 2 is weird (poor replacement for the South Tower). I hate the Wedge of Light concept, too eerie.

I do like Tower 3; it has a beautiful form and it accommodates the Freedom Tower very well. I hear that the spires are supposed light up.

Tower 4...at first, appears to have the same form as the Twin Towers, but transforms into a trapezoid pointing towards the Freedom Tower. A nice gesture...
