Imagine this...Roger Waters was the "Razor Blade" of "Pink Floyd". He could cut you in half with a simple phrase or comment. That voice. That EMOTION.

Okay, Dave Gilmour maybe more harmonic, but just imagine if it was Roger who sang "What Do You Want From Me" off "The Division Bell" album!

I'll get slammed for this but personally once waters wrote most of the pink floyd material eg the wall and the final cut, I think it was way better than earlier pink floyd and later pink floyd after waters left. Pros and cons of hitchhiking - one of waters solo albums is the best.

its the same other way around too, I have seen gilmour he's also boring without roger. But then its obvious, floyd was one of the most complete bands in history; its the complete floyd experience thats missing NOT only gilmour!

@icedangel61 You could get your wish. Gilmour is showing at an unannounced stop in his current US tour of the wall. I'm doing Chicago Sept 24th and crossing my fingers!

I saw him on his Dark Side tour a few years ago and it was the most powerful show I've seen in all my years. Any Color You Like and Great Gig were impossible to listen to sitting down.
