I love how people put comments on videos and do nothing but put comments talking about the dirt or just being negative in general. Who cares? If that's all you're gonna do go watch some videos that are actually shitty. Example, people who put videos up and think they're the shit.
haha, funny story.. they were at the central crossing show we went to that year, it was our first year out and also the first comp, well after it was all said and done we ended up with a higher overall score and we always said (jokingly) " remember when we beat Rhythm X?"
haha, thats almost funny! no actually we're quite good. every comp we have been to we take first place and score higher than most of the larger high school lines in classes above ours. so no, far from sucking.. but you're all talk, how about you??
as for me, I have nothing to prove, I marched in a really good high school and have marched 3 years of drum corps and am a percussion major in college
" we... score higher than most of the larger high school lines in classes above ours" the classes above you are judged harder so you really cant compare
they're a world class group, so shouldn't they be held to some kind of standard? they had a really good idea for a show but anyone who things it's okay for a group that claims to be at the highest level of this activity to throw down dirt cause they're too busy being superstars is missing the point of the whole activity
They're acting and you noticed that they were portraying superstars. So they did their job. I guarantee that scores didn't affect these guys that much, bcuz they enjoyed what they were doin.
if you compare them "in the lot" from 2007 to 2008 they are more technical which is probably why they won 1st in 2008. but nonetheless this show was awsome and very entertaining.
yo snareperson, ur a total dumbass, first of bluedevils is the shit and by the way u sound u dont know shit about drumline. O and in case u dont know, u have to be a badass to be in the blueman group.
So you want to insult me on a personal level? I really do like your attempt good sir. You might want to first start off by being able to type correct grammar. Your only going to insult yourself with your own intelligence. You sound like a die hard blue devil drum line fan. The obvious young kid who has no relative idea of what a good drum line is. So, I wont waste my time arguing my reasons. And you are right about one thing. You have to be a BAD ASS!!! to be in the Blue man Group.
sorry about my gramar, i didn't think it mattered to u but w/e. and u can take back what u said about me being young and not knowing anythin about a good drumline, because i am young but i am also on a independent world class drumline.
they shouldnt even be walking around like they're hot shit. i get that its part of their show, which is original, but listen to the fucking dirt on the snare line at 1:51. these guys have a lot of work to do
that dirt was david breaking and playing the wrong part. It was pretty hilarious. I laughed at him and then almost broke myself. Then we went inside and scott johnson put us second in hands....the other judg didnt....whooopidyyyy dooooo.
oh no you guys are awesome, theres no doubt about that. idk i just hate people walkin around all showing off and stuff. but like i said, its just me....great job though. if scott johnson digs it i guess i'm totally off! ha
Sorry, I wasnt trying to be mean. I agree with you on the showing off stuff. Some groups do it for different reasons. But we did it because we had to perform and project a certain image. Yea that rep in the vid sucked but it wasnt something that happened often. The guys in the snareline are the least arrogant dudes you would meet.
this is a disgrace to drumlines everywhere. drummers are much more badass when they maintain a complete humble mentality, then bust out clean beats. their whole attitude pisses me off, but thats just me...
Groups who actually know how to be in performance all the time are badass. There is a reason Rhythm X appeared and acted the way they did. It's what good groups do(i.e. RX,RCC, MCM). They perform all the time. Maybe when you graduate from high school, or get in a great world class group, you might understand that.
oh i see what you did! you made it seem like i'm really young and have no idea what i'm talking about!! THATS BRILLIANT!! only problem is: a) im 24, b) i marched blue devils, and c) i'm in fucking BLUE MAN GROUP and perform four nights a week. were your parents first cousins that ALSO sucked at talking down to people? fist yourself
Oh, i see what you did! You pulled out the beast cards on me! Here is the two problems: A) you marched blue devils. I hope for your sake you dont mean the drumline who apparently is the sickest line ever with ONE drum trophy since 1997. SWEET! Dirty as balls every year. Mainly the snareline. I will give props to the quadlines of 04-06. And the basslines are usually good. B) You're in fucking BLUE MAN GROUP. Who gives a fuck. You look real sweet in that blue make up. I'll go fist myself now.
Wow. You really think winning a drum trophy means so much? The Blue Devils have the best players, consistently, every year. They have the hardest books, always. And when you say "dirty as balls every year" what exactly do you mean? When have the had a BAD percussion score? Never. If you claim the Blue Devils have dirty snareline, then, by your standards, who has a CLEAN snareline? Don't dare name any other Division 1 Drum Corps, beacuse they have all the same flaws that any BD line did.
alright, compared to every other finalist at DCI this year, Blue Devils had the easiest book. Compared to notes Bluecoats, SCV, Phantom, and Cadets threw down Blue devils was elementary this year. They don't have the best players, the orginization just lets their players do an I&E so you watch them on the Vic Firth website and think they're awesome. Watch Star of Indianna or Cadets 2000 to see real clean beats.
Snareist.. How do you feel being a huge fucking band nerd? I've seen you post some flagrant hatred towards this group about a fucking band show. It seems like a fun time for the people in this group to do this show but your intense obessions over flamming this group have taken over your pathetic jealous band life. Stop and look in the mirror and say these following phrases: " I am a fucking band nerd."...." I post comments on youtube everyday about a band show
It's easy to be a crowd pleaser when the annoncer gives them the special treatment. Watch the DVD and you'll never hear him say anyone else's name with much enthusiasm. Also, I liked how they got 2nd in hands yet a tenor playor played the completely wrong part during the accel solo...again, watch the DVD...it's the guy on the left.
After watching the solo again...umm...I hope you were being sarcastic. ESpecially since all of the tenors are playing the same part at that point in this video.
yea that dirt in the snareline was because david broke that rep and played the wrong part. After the rep we all laughed about it and talked about how europe was pretty sweet and how much fun the season was....then we went inside, had a great show and scott johnson put us 2nd in hands on finals...the other judge didnt.....big whooop...go band. Check out some of the innovative clips if you thought we were dirty. Congrats RCC....michelle fucking rules!
No they're soft felt (puffies) mallets made for the quads by innovative percussion. They have the shaft of the TS-1 with a soft felt tip. To think that anyone could play quads with key mallets is rather laughable.
Are you serious? You can't use key mallets. The shafts are like the size of a pencil. And the ends are freakishly large and made of yarn. They would break if you tried to do one rim shot. I mean seriously.
people are being fucking ignorant, they arent dirty, when you can play that good you can tell me, i mean timmy j is in that line for christ sake, he played an I & E solo on 3 tenors, do that and ill be impressed
They were pretty clean for the most part... but far from the best that I've seen... The line is just too big to be clean... That being said that were moments where it was omg... but overall... lean and clean would've served better then big and flashy. Which by the way was how RCC was. Which won gold. Nuf said.
Seriously, some people need to lighten up and realize that the DCI/WGI industry would not exist if people weren't entertained. When your show contains "Sexy Back," it's almost expected that a certain amount of confidence be a part of your show demeanor. The velvet rope stunt wasn't a matter of being cocky, it was a thematic element that (very successfully) hyped the crowd up.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Like you said everything just added to the show. I'm not the only one who thinks that X's show was the easily the most crowd pleasing.
it was so ill when they came on the floor in dayton. everyone went wild. i was there with constitution independent world. even if the show wasnt terribly clean, i loved it for what it was- entertaining.
Anyone who thinks we lived this show, this season, with the intent of getting the best number, has a seriously skewed view of reality. Sometimes the expectations of many undermine and discredit the accomplished journey of a select few.
Oh so this is what my friend was telling me about! hee hee no wonder why he loves Rhythm X so much they are f*cking it awesome! ... I really hate it that i had the munchies then i could of watched them perform and "warm-up".
Hey... if I was SNAREIST... and I was a pissed off drummer who never accomplished anything substantial in my pathetic drumming career... and came on youtube and saw a group that showed up to finals in a limo, walked down a red carpet to their warm-up, had their warm-up roped off with stanchions and velvet ropes, had hundreds of fans screaming, got a standing ovation at their finals show, played an amazing show that every performer f*cking loved to perform...
...got to go to Europe, had an amazing group bond and loved each other, were mature enough to represent their group in a proper manner, were all respected teachers at other scholastic groups, were all respected musicians in their own right at other institutions, got to go to EUROPE, knew how to respect other people as well as other groups, knew how to have an amazing time while drumming and not get their panties in a wad over bullsh*t, showed up to finals in a limo...
...looked sexy as hell, had girls screaming for them from Dayton to Brussels, played that damn good with a 10 man indoor snareline, got to go to EUROPE, and did i mention looked sexy as hell......... yeah I think I'd be a little jealous. So I can see why Snareist posts everything he does. He obviously had a boring and shitty drumming career for himself, and makes himself feel better about it by ragging on groups that he wishes he was a part of.
Amazing. I'd like to see Snareist follow that string of truths. Couldn't said it better myself. :D Just to clarify I was one of the "Fans" I carried a stanchion. I was a Centerville A Line Snare this year and Tim has only said great things about what an amazingly good and friendly group you guys are. After the show I talked to a few members and they were really down to Earth people. I really loved your show and I can't wait till next year. GO X!!!
Yeah, the fan's matter, but the kids marching the show matter too. Did they learn and have FUN? I'd imagine so (judging from occutxmallegal's comments). To me NOT having fun and hyping finals (no matter who you are) is pretentious... so i guess it's just a difference of opinions. Great job RX!
Well, I know I had an awesome time playing this show, it was so much fun, loving knowing I'm going out on this show! I do want to say great season guys! Memories to last a lifetime! It was a hell of an experience! Thanks to all the kids that helped with the finishing touches on the show, it was a pleasure hanging out with you! Congratulations to everyone at WGI last weekend (and the weekend before!), there were so many great shows! I can't wait to get the DVD!
Last, bringing out the drums, it was part of the show, being pampered celebrities and all, it was part of the hype, it was a moment saved for finals. I guess we should have made sure to put everything we have out at the Indy regional since no other groups save good ideas for finals, the best always have the finished product at the start of the season.
All the "fans" got to volunteer for their jobs. At the practice the jobs were distrubited like this. The job was described to them, They heard a job they wanted, they raises their hands for the job. (exception, the tarp. Those kids moved the tarps at their schools so they were asked to stay on that.) The red carpet was not that heavy, two people could move it without blinking, I know I loaded it. Those girls choose that job, those 4 or more girls.
Everything you are saying is completely correct. The tarp crew was the Centerville World Line and volunteered for the job. People did in fact volunteer for carrying the drums as well as the red carptet. The Centerville Gaurd girls who moved the red carpet were even offered help and they said that they didn't need any.
maybe I can help clear the air on all these "facts":
Rhythm X almost didn't make it to retreat, we were still loading our trucks when our director yelled at us to run inside for retreat BUT to make sure to get back out as soon as we could to finish loading. Most of us went outside to finish right after (I ran after took few to say congrats to some of my friends at NCA) Also, white uniforms in a dirty truck, they don't mix. That could be another answer to the ripping off the uniform
Hah... Truthfully if i arrived in a car like that i wouldn't have gotten out. I would of knocked out the driver (maybe) and played in the car! hah smart thinking right? Yea i know.
i was there, and i know everyone in the nutter center went crazy when rhythm x came from behind the curtain. that was insane. i didnt see this in the lot, i was watching matrix. how about their show concept?
And as far as the cleanliness of the line goes, the snares were horrible in this video, as well as the others I've seen, and the tenors couldn't hit it when they were ramming those 1-&-a-2-&-a-3-&-a-4-&-a's. I could've played a decent chunk of your show when I was in Jr. High.
Wow, its too bad your already late on the joke. We were saying that as soon as we found out the placement in the first place. And yes, this video is a very dirty clip of them, I agree.
As was I, but I didn't happen to get around to posting it until now. And the other clip from the lot was very dirty as well. In fact, there aren't many on here that are clean and readable.
Also, having high school kids take their drums out to the floor and taking them back out is one thing if as an ensemble they didn't think that should be done for them all the time. I was watching the "fans and paparazzi" moving off the floor and noticed a few girls were in charge of moving the red carpet, which they were having an extremely hard time with. Go X!!
Just to separate opinion from fact, here's a fact. Rhythm X left retreat very soon after the confetti flew. I stuck around a little on the floor with friends taking pictures and as I left the arena, with the floor on both sides of the curtain pretty much full, I noticed an X guy nearly done changing out of uniform. Way to end with class by sticking around and congratulating the other lines who "are out of their league."
wow, great example! It was probably one of the snares who had to leave right away to fly back to South Carolina. But i'm sure he is sorry that he couldn't stop and talk to you since you weren't paying for his flight.
I am sorry if I offended anyone with what I said. That is just the vibe that I got from the show. There is no denying the fact that Rhythm X performs very well on a regular basis. I personally did not like their show concept this year.
and as far as their demeanor for the show, you can't judge them for that. That's like saying when project did their "crazy" show, that since half of them acted crazy and had the hair all chopped up outside of their performance, that they really ARE crazy. Doesn't make any sense.
I don't get where people can get away with calling Rhythm X arrogant and cocky. Have you guys ever spoke with any of them? Or are you guys scared to talk to them and therefore judge them as arrogant and cocky? I have been around this group for many years, I have seen them interact with people and never do I see arrogance. Most of the members know many other people from other groups and always support them. They are all more than willing to interact with people.
you are in correct. They actually got 4th in PA. which is playing. good try tho. They did not place in top 4 because of GE which is show design, and Visual with is also show design. Sorry bro.
man.. screw all these haters. I play tenors in Palmetto Percussion ( PIO ) and i watched you guys at finals.. and i swear you guys should have been top 4 (at the least)... i seriously loved your show..and i love all the shows that RX does because they do it all out; balls up; and perform the hell out of it... keep ramming those notes and keeping the crowd screaming because that's what the hell this activity is all about baby! you guys rock! HANDS DOWN
For one...if your talking crap about rx members being not nice or mean then you obviously dont know what your talking about....and if you dont like our show then tough shit...get over it and say what you must. We lived the show out and we pretty much did everything over the top bc thats what good groups do...if you dont like it...well then good for you. We had a great time doing what we do and its fucking band...its fun. Congrats to all of the lines in PIW this year....great shows all around.
The limo was pretty sick idea, so were all the fans lining the floor, and the line plays very well, I just think it is funny that they didn't really have to "act" or go above and beyond to perform this show, they just had to be themselves. Like it or not, that is what their reputation is, cocky, arrogant, etc. Although I know some people in the group who are not, that is their reputation.
i honestly can't beleive all the negativity. You konw in indoor you have to play a character, and they did a hell of a job, and to say that they have an ego? ha! every drummer does. take a group of them and mix them with a group of another line and it's the same type of people...jeese.nice job RX
Wow, I just want to say that RX had a good line yes, but I think that the umm "Celebertism" was way too much. I think that however like posted a few above their show matched their ego. They are nice to fans in the lot but I've heard they are different anyother time. Props for CBUS though!
Man that's definitely not true. Yeah some of the guys are a little stuck up, but you'll find that anywhere - frats anyone? I played rack in 06, none of the people youd expect to be rude were, in fact probly the one guy youd think was the most arrogant was actually one of the nicest to me.
Trust me, when you see the Innovative Clips i'm about to make, you'll see that they're extremely clean! You should hear the line up. All the corps experience in this group is sick.
to me it looked like a lot of fun..... not arrogance. And thats what rhythm X seems to do every year... have fun. Winning (well, most years) is just a byproduct of the great environment that seems to lie there. All be it they're a little dirty, its still an awesome show.
Dude, chill. The show was about a certain type of "star" or "celebrity". I find it extremely funny that people get offended by RX, just because they have fun, and do things a little different than most groups. They just like having fun, and take 'band' a little less seriously. If you don't like RX, don't check 'em out. I guarantee that people in the group are friendly and will talk to anyone in the lot or anywhere else.

After watching the solo again...umm...I hope you were being sarcastic. ESpecially since all of the tenors are playing the same part at that point in this video.
Snareist 4 years ago
no i heard it was his solo
Ramenisforkids 4 years ago
yea that dirt in the snareline was because david broke that rep and played the wrong part. Congrats RCC....michelle fucking rules!

wtf, r the tenors playin with keyboard mallets? look frm 1:03 to 1:13
iplaytenor 4 years ago
No they're soft felt (puffies) mallets made for the quads by innovative percussion. They have the shaft of the TS-1 with a soft felt tip. To think that anyone could play quads with key mallets is rather laughable.
OutletEntertainment 4 years ago
ya they could, y is it funny?
iplaytenor 4 years ago
Are you serious? You can't use key mallets. The shafts are like the size of a pencil. And the ends are freakishly large and made of yarn. They would break if you tried to do one rim shot. I mean seriously.

u can u jus shouldnt. thats y i said wtf cause i didnt kno wat they were using

people are being fucking ignorant, they arent dirty, when you can play that good you can tell me, i mean timmy j is in that line for christ sake, he played an I & E solo on 3 tenors, do that and ill be impressed
CaviesPWN 4 years ago
They were pretty clean for the most part... but far from the best that I've seen... The line is just too big to be clean... That being said that were moments where it was omg... but overall... lean and clean would've served better then big and flashy. Which by the way was how RCC was. Which won gold. Nuf said.

Seriously, some people need to lighten up and realize that the DCI/WGI industry would not exist if people weren't entertained. When your show contains "Sexy Back," it's almost expected that a certain amount of confidence be a part of your show demeanor. The velvet rope stunt wasn't a matter of being cocky, it was a thematic element that (very successfully) hyped the crowd up.
jacoismyhero 4 years ago
Couldn't have said it better myself. Like you said everything just added to the show. I'm not the only one who thinks that X's show was the easily the most crowd pleasing.

yea, they are dirty at parts, but i bet they have more fun than any other line. i would love to show up in that stretch escalade. thats sick

Anyone who thinks we lived this show, this season, with the intent of getting the best number, has a seriously skewed view of reality. Sometimes the expectations of many undermine and discredit the accomplished journey of a select few.
All of my best, to all of the best.

OutletEntertainment 4 years ago
Hey... if I was SNAREIST... and I was a pissed off drummer who never accomplished anything substantial in my pathetic drumming career... and came on youtube and saw a group that showed up to finals in a limo, walked down a red carpet to their warm-up, had their warm-up roped off with stanchions and velvet ropes, had hundreds of fans screaming, got a standing ovation at their finals show, played an amazing show that every performer f*cking loved to perform...
mckenn25 4 years ago
...got to go to Europe, had an amazing group bond and loved each other, were mature enough to represent their group in a proper manner, were all respected teachers at other scholastic groups, were all respected musicians in their own right at other institutions, got to go to EUROPE, knew how to respect other people as well as other groups, knew how to have an amazing time while drumming and not get their panties in a wad over bullsh*t, showed up to finals in a limo...
mckenn25 4 years ago
...looked sexy as hell, had girls screaming for them from Dayton to Brussels, played that damn good with a 10 man indoor snareline, got to go to EUROPE, and did i mention looked sexy as hell......... yeah I think I'd be a little jealous. So I can see why Snareist posts everything he does. He obviously had a boring and shitty drumming career for himself, and makes himself feel better about it by ragging on groups that he wishes he was a part of.
mckenn25 4 years ago
Sorry Snareist, you would've been cut. Cut like a little bitch. Nice Try though! ;-)
mckenn25 4 years ago
GO X!!!
OutletEntertainment 4 years ago
Yeah, the fan's matter, but the kids marching the show matter too. Did they learn and have FUN? I'd imagine so (judging from occutxmallegal's comments). To me NOT having fun and hyping finals (no matter who you are) is pretentious... so i guess it's just a difference of opinions. Great job RX!
xtreme0204 4 years ago
Well, I know I had an awesome time playing this show, it was so much fun, loving knowing I'm going out on this show! I do want to say great season guys! Memories to last a lifetime! It was a hell of an experience! Thanks to all the kids that helped with the finishing touches on the show, it was a pleasure hanging out with you! Congratulations to everyone at WGI last weekend (and the weekend before!), there were so many great shows! I can't wait to get the DVD!
occutxmallegal 4 years ago
Last, bringing out the drums, it was part of the show, being pampered celebrities and all, it was part of the hype, it was a moment saved for finals. I guess we should have made sure to put everything we have out at the Indy regional since no other groups save good ideas for finals, the best always have the finished product at the start of the season.
occutxmallegal 4 years ago
All the "fans" got to volunteer for their jobs. At the practice the jobs were distrubited like this. The job was described to them, They heard a job they wanted, they raises their hands for the job. (exception, the tarp. Those kids moved the tarps at their schools so they were asked to stay on that.) The red carpet was not that heavy, two people could move it without blinking, I know I loaded it. Those girls choose that job, those 4 or more girls.
occutxmallegal 4 years ago
Everything you are saying is completely correct. The tarp crew was the Centerville World Line and volunteered for the job. People did in fact volunteer for carrying the drums as well as the red carptet. The Centerville Gaurd girls who moved the red carpet were even offered help and they said that they didn't need any.
OutletEntertainment 4 years ago
maybe I can help clear the air on all these "facts":
Rhythm X almost didn't make it to retreat, we were still loading our trucks when our director yelled at us to run inside for retreat BUT to make sure to get back out as soon as we could to finish loading. Most of us went outside to finish right after (I ran after took few to say congrats to some of my friends at NCA) Also, white uniforms in a dirty truck, they don't mix. That could be another answer to the ripping off the uniform
occutxmallegal 4 years ago
Hah... Truthfully if i arrived in a car like that i wouldn't have gotten out. I would of knocked out the driver (maybe) and played in the car! hah smart thinking right? Yea i know.

i was there, and i know everyone in the nutter center went crazy when rhythm x came from behind the curtain. that was insane. i didnt see this in the lot, i was watching matrix. how about their show concept?
cmoney9888 4 years ago
Dude i didnt realized how much you liked our show. Thanks for you comments.
snareperson 4 years ago
And as far as the cleanliness of the line goes, the snares were horrible in this video, as well as the others I've seen, and the tenors couldn't hit it when they were ramming those 1-&-a-2-&-a-3-&-a-4-&-a's. I could've played a decent chunk of your show when I was in Jr. High.
And I couldn't leave without saying:
"We're bringing sixth place back!! Yeah!!"
~Rhythm X 2007
Snareist 4 years ago
Wow, its too bad your already late on the joke. We were saying that as soon as we found out the placement in the first place. And yes, this video is a very dirty clip of them, I agree.
snredrum 4 years ago
As was I, but I didn't happen to get around to posting it until now. And the other clip from the lot was very dirty as well. In fact, there aren't many on here that are clean and readable.
Snareist 4 years ago
I think it's pretty clear that the snare lick where we shat the bed was a fluke rep.
adamadam3000 4 years ago
Also, having high school kids take their drums out to the floor and taking them back out is one thing if as an ensemble they didn't think that should be done for them all the time. I was watching the "fans and paparazzi" moving off the floor and noticed a few girls were in charge of moving the red carpet, which they were having an extremely hard time with. Go X!!
Snareist 4 years ago
Just to separate opinion from fact, here's a fact. Rhythm X left retreat very soon after the confetti flew. I stuck around a little on the floor with friends taking pictures and as I left the arena, with the floor on both sides of the curtain pretty much full, I noticed an X guy nearly done changing out of uniform. Way to end with class by sticking around and congratulating the other lines who "are out of their league."
Snareist 4 years ago
wow, great example! It was probably one of the snares who had to leave right away to fly back to South Carolina. But i'm sure he is sorry that he couldn't stop and talk to you since you weren't paying for his flight.

Snareist 4 years ago
I am sorry if I offended anyone with what I said. That is just the vibe that I got from the show. There is no denying the fact that Rhythm X performs very well on a regular basis. I personally did not like their show concept this year.
budahed54 4 years ago
Yea RX was really awesome. We watched it too I was like holy wow these people are good... QUESTION!!! was this at the Nutty Butty Center?
Valiances 4 years ago
Yes indeed it was.
OutletEntertainment 4 years ago
and as far as their demeanor for the show, you can't judge them for that. That's like saying when project did their "crazy" show, that since half of them acted crazy and had the hair all chopped up outside of their performance, that they really ARE crazy. Doesn't make any sense.
snredrum 4 years ago
I don't get where people can get away with calling Rhythm X arrogant and cocky. Have you guys ever spoke with any of them? Or are you guys scared to talk to them and therefore judge them as arrogant and cocky? I have been around this group for many years, I have seen them interact with people and never do I see arrogance. Most of the members know many other people from other groups and always support them. They are all more than willing to interact with people.
snredrum 4 years ago
they did not place in the top 4 because of dirt
it was a good show but it was not clean
bluelemons07 4 years ago
you are in correct. They actually got 4th in PA. which is playing. good try tho. They did not place in top 4 because of GE which is show design, and Visual with is also show design. Sorry bro.
gibraltar2412 4 years ago
man.. screw all these haters. HANDS DOWN
clhdrums87 4 years ago

NTWProductions 4 years ago
i honestly can't beleive all the negativity. You konw in indoor you have to play a character, and they did a hell of a job, and to say that they have an ego? ha! every drummer does. take a group of them and mix them with a group of another line and it's the same type of people...jeese.nice job RX
drummingislife91 4 years ago 2
I would just like to say also that the whole red carpet thing is dumb...sorry dudes.
Buckets5875 4 years ago
Wow, I just want to say that RX had a good line yes, but I think that the umm "Celebertism" was way too much. I think that however like posted a few above their show matched their ego. They are nice to fans in the lot but I've heard they are different anyother time. Props for CBUS though!
Buckets5875 4 years ago
Man that's definitely not true. Yeah some of the guys are a little stuck up, but you'll find that anywhere - frats anyone? I played rack in 06, none of the people youd expect to be rude were, in fact probly the one guy youd think was the most arrogant was actually one of the nicest to me.
MattusMaHattus 4 years ago
Trust me, when you see the Innovative Clips i'm about to make, you'll see that they're extremely clean! You should hear the line up. All the corps experience in this group is sick.
gibraltar2412 4 years ago
to me it looked like a lot of fun..... not arrogance. And thats what rhythm X seems to do every year... have fun. Winning (well, most years) is just a byproduct of the great environment that seems to lie there. All be it they're a little dirty, its still an awesome show.

No, this show was about Rhythm X being celebrities in this activity, which is EXTREAMLY ARROGANT.
budahed54 4 years ago
Dude, chill. The show was about a certain type of "star" or "celebrity". I find it extremely funny that people get offended by RX, just because they have fun, and do things a little different than most groups. They just like having fun, and take 'band' a little less seriously. If you don't like RX, don't check 'em out. I guarantee that people in the group are friendly and will talk to anyone in the lot or anywhere else.
